    Stainless or chrome Phantom barrel

I have an as-yet unidentified, perhaps BOA, barrel that fits, but is not properly threaded for, a Phantom.

I had an extraordinary offer on it once but want to know what's a fair middle ground. And a more certain ID if possible.

Two rows of spiral porting and a .689ish bore.

    Edit: slightly magnetic.

Looks like a J&J, most of which were handmade out of brass back in the day, and then nickeled. If it's lightly magnetic, could be stainless, but I though the only stainless ones they made were the backs for the 2-piece kits, or some thinwall tube things.

As for the threading, it could potentially be for a Sovereign. A Phantom barrel can be fit to a Sov with minor tweaking to the threads.

Or, since the majority of the J&Js were basically handmade, could have just been sloppily-threaded.

Yeah... figured it was just easier to cut a vee than Acme, but the Sov note is interesting.
