Digging out my collection from storage and making things right again.

I suspect my collection is just verging on interesting enough to be posted along side the extremely fiscally irresponsible people who frequent this website.

Stopped playing around 2010 and evidently threw everything, still covered in paint, into a storage bin and left it until now. Metal on metal, greasy, it's bad. I'll be using this thread to log the restoration to the best of my ability of each and every one of these markers to full glory.

You got plenty of great gear. Awesome collection! Besides maybe some new seals for them all and like maybe a new mask with a nice fog resistant thermal lenses you are set. The tippmanns probably still shoot honestly lol. Best luck getting everything sorted and enjoy yourself. This sport is a f***** blast. Happy to see people come back.

It was a late run colour way done around the same time as the Purple/Yellow. Probably one of only a dozen or less.

Thanks! It's a spanky monkey, I believe the only difference is this one is pre 2k specs. I'll have to cross that bridge when I get to it but I sold all my bits (including, I know for a fact, a benchmark slide frame) for like $20 back in the day :/ Open to suggestions.

Yeah, just subscribe to the whole Canada forum or keep an eye in there. As events were coming up this summer, mostly big games, we were putting up the details in a new post and putting a call out for any members interested. Wasaga Paintball Big Game odder things II was the biggest turnout, we had several Ontario guys, and a few Quebec MCB members attend as well. Was a really fun time!

as someone who let some paint soak into to one of the early A-5's for a few years, i can tell you the paint on at least one of those tippmann's is trash, thats okay though, its just paint, they shoot good ugly too

also, avoid rubbing alcohol on painted surfaces,, i find theres a 10% chance its capable of stripping the paint off whatever i put it on
