    Arctic’s armory

Allow me to pull back the curtain and give your hairy eyeballs a glimpse into the decades long culmination of collecting, customization and generalized rascalism that is my paintball armory.

    Brass pistols

    The bear blasting pgp
the one that started it all, well the second…the first is a gnarled pile of waste. Got this as a Pgp2k with a broken feed gate and dented tube. Torched off the feedtube to make a nice single shot. One night I heard what I thought to be a raccoon on the porch after my garbage. Threw the door open with pistol in hand only to see a bear instead, shot it in the ass anyway and promptly shut the door as it ran off. Wound up selling it, buying it back, sending it to Walz for a transfer port enlargement and iron sights, adding a kframe, and a Spyder detent to stop rollouts on quick draw.

    The Eastwood

After cutting my teeth a bit, learning from past experience(mistakes), drinking lots of bourbon and watching a metric ton of Clint over covid, I decided to make another western themed single shot pistol. Did the hot work and rattlesnake inlay myself this time. It may not have shot a bear, but feels great in the hand.

    Pump Pandemonium

This was a raffle prize at the first pump pandemonium. Swapped the aluminum kframe for a brass one, and changed the 10 round tube adapter to a dedicated 6 shooter. I also modified the feed plug to eliminate the shaking usually necessary with lower sidetubes. Wedgits work great with all but tiny paint, and it’s hefty enough that you could club someone if you run out of paint.

      Other brass guns

      KBG #3

I can’t stress enough how much fun this thing is! Break action, hand loaded, sawed off, face painting awesomeness. The adjustable lever changer is great for accommodating different brand cartridges. A couple dots of nail polish to prevent roll outs and it’s one of my top two fielded guns.

      K Rifle

This one’s still a work in progress. More to come

        Phantoms

        Old faithful

My main shooter for awhile, this started life as a solid red and green acid wash mashup. After a feedtube malfunction and a day of ruling the field as a single shot, I decided to send it to blizzard for an ano fitting of how I felt about it and even had Mike Cassidy re-laser the frame assembly and add my name to the grip. It takes a back seat to my brass these days, but I’ll always have a special place for it and hope my daughter will wield it when she comes of age.

        Lever Phantom

To keep the Wild in West, it’s a Dukie lever phantom in a Walz stock. This came to me with a modified sight rail that accepted pt extreme springfed magazines. Since I’ve owned it it’s been through a ridiculous amount of variations from phantom to gargoyle and back again. Ultimately I think it should keep its springfed roots, after all it is a lever.

Hoppers and feed tubes are overrated. Single shot is the path to Nirvana.

It’s definitely my preferred play style. After playing so long with the freedom of a ball bag, a full tube load out feels restrictive.
