In the last 12-18 months I have picked up a handful of Nelsons and added them to the collection.
NW Spitfire II
Last year BrickHaus scored a couple of these locally, and was kind enough to send one my way. It had a slight leak from the cupseal, and the pump handle was barely holding on(which seems to be normal for these).
I have added a 3D printed pump handle, stole the Lonestar grip for another gun and put on this M16 style grip, swapped in a bushmaster cupseal/powertube to correct the leak, and some tape to the barrel.
It was shooting about 240-260 fps before the powertube swap, and I haven't had a chance to take it out since then. I'm hoping to get it to the field once before year end.
It's mostly a wall hanger because, lets be honest, it looks sick as hell.
Line SI Bushmaster
Toestr was selling this a while back, and I've always always always wanted a Bushmaster.
It currently lives without a grip, but I put the lonestar on for the photo.
It has an AGS Devastator pump handle with some cool purple anno pump arms. Fun fact, the AC Detent fingers work well with these. I also have what looks to be a Cooper T rear ASA that I might install with a bottomline.
It was shooting low when Toestr had it, and it continues to. Eventually I'd like to get my hands on one of Doc's bull barrels, but it hasn't been a priority.
Classic Trracer
About as simple as it gets. Stock Trracer with a bottomline. I have some Freedummy detents in it as well.
Shooting 260-270 with bigger paint, lower without.
Empire Trracer
If you've been around here a while, you've probably seen me post this in a variety of different configurations. I bought this 14 years ago, the first purchase on my credit card at 18(setting up a lifetime of wise financial decisions).
Centerfeed milled, 3D printed feed, otherwise stock.
Literally the most reliable gun I've ever had.
Singleshot Trracer
I shortened the barrel with a pipe cutter in the groove for the barrel ring.
Has freedummy detents, an adjustable bolt. and a 3D printed 90 degree grip.
Planning on cutting the breach for FSR and we'll go from there.
Currently shooting between 250-270 with the bolt CRANKED.
Custom Trracer
This is more of a sunk-cost fallacy than a paintball gun.
I had always wanted one of these centerfeed bodies, and scored this one from moving_target.
It's been a rollercoaster with this thing, honestly.
ICD Lever Changer with Doc Adapter(don't do this)
Imberiman Centerfeed Body(don't do this either)
CCI feed
Kenimex Scorpion pump handle
Lonestar grip(preferential to the 90 I had on it forever)
Running a Tanto Barrel and a TechT iFit to get a desired length, however I am just waiting for Doc to restock the AC bull barrels again.
I really need to get the body anno'd as it's still just raw aluminum, but that will happen soon enough.
Super fun to play with, but it's a little temperamental with bad paint.
Again, don't do this, there was a lot to overcome on this build. My financial loss is your knowledgeable gain.
