Hey, NOBODY! Or anyone who knows him...

Remember me? I believe you bought my 'cocker.. 23 years ago, and said you were open to me buying it back. I asked a few times over the years but I think none of my requests ever found their way to you, or maybe you are not willing to sell it back? If that's the case no problemo, it's yours and I won't ask again.

But on the off chance you do have it or know where it is and are willing to sell it, it's this one:

You might try posting on AO... not sure if it's the same person, but there is a Nobody over there that used to be pretty active.

"Nobody" used to be a common poster. Now I wonder what happened to him.

Probably like a lot of people, more or less got out of the sport, and moved on to other things. The Tinker's Guild has been around for something like 27 years now, and if you go back to some of the early pages, you'll see a ton of old names familiar to anyone from the old PPS and Automag boards, the early "owner's groups", etc.

One can imagine that a number of those people were late teens or early twenties back then, and eventually married, got new careers, moved, whatever.

                  Doc.

I remember him from my AO days. Even being back on there more recently brings back memories. I was a sophomore in highschool when the level 10 bolt kit came out and remember watching the videos in the computer lab. Now I am married and have two kids. Time flies

Contact made! Nobody and I had a long chat. He has it, and I am now buying back the marker I sold to him 25 years ago almost to the day. What a journey this marker will have made.. I bought it bone stock in.. 199... 7? 8? I forget the serial number on it but I'll pose when I get it.

I love hearing these stories. This happened to me many years ago. I had a STO that Rocky Cagnoni had used in the early years of Avalanche. I sold it in the late 90's and was able to get it back a decade later.

I love hearing stories of owners that we're looking for their old gear finally getting it back years later. I helped bored383 do something like that a number of years ago. He had sold his prized VMX on the old VM Empire forum to user named Spdrman who had bought it never used it and basically just stuck it in his closet. It sat in there for 3 years if I recall correctly and then I bought it. And when the original owner came looking for it I happily sold it back to him for what I paid. It was definitely a nice piece and I was glad to see a return home.
