August Wasaga big game?

Any of you planning/hoping to go to Wasaga’s big game in August?

thinking about signing up. My sister backing out so going solo likely this time round. That’s if things open up that is obviously.

I might. Big games aren't really my thing (at least the ones I've been to). Last time I played Wasaga's big game was 2016. Sides don't really matter to me unless there's a really cool story line, or one side of the field is superior in some way to the other.

Last year the small MCB group that went signed up for Team Monsters. I was signed up briefly as a Monster, but then had to bail last minute due to a Family Emergency ( on a related note, Owner Donna at Wasaga is fantastic ! She let me carry my booking and case purchase into this year! )

Anyhow, if you want to keep the trend going, i'd vote to be Monsters again.

They weren't mine either... Getting worked up about points and running missions isn't my thing. Meeting some fellow MCB'ers and having fun playing paintball is, though.

I like big games not for the scenario/points or winning. But more so the massive fields of play. The people and playing more at my pace (limited these days due to injuries). I like the strategy of the larger fields.

Me too... I'm a "go for a leisurely walk" paintballer, not a sprinter.

Since Moparfest is canceled again this year I will be available for the Wasaga big game.
I too am a player of the leisure walk style.

At Under Siege II 2020, Ultimate Paintball, Milton......at game start, Jordan, Ratzo and I “Leisurely Advanced” on a hilltop town near enemy lines. When we crested the hill, the town was already held by our team. They’d had the town for about 10-15 minutes before we got there

Sounds about my pace lol. I got one leg that’s a bit mangled from a motorcycle accident many years ago. I can run for short burst but it hurts to do so, so I try to avoid that lol. But being honest I a fat guy I avoided running long before any injuries lol now k just have a better excuse.

6.5 hours drive and will need to convince the wife to let me go but will see what I can do

I personally will only be doing the Saturday. It’s a good 2hr drive for me so planning to just drive up early in the AM. (I normally up at 3am for work anyways).

Fair enough I've never played an actual big game as an MCB member. I did play the old school game at prz though, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

If everyone is doing one day vs. the other, I'll shoot for the day with the majority playing... I might do both, depends on a few things.
