Canada Post Delay - West Coast or Everywhere?

So I’m been impatiently waiting for several packages I ordered on January 6th. One package has been marked as departed Manitoba on the 8th and no updates since. It’s missed two delivery estimates an now Canada Post has changed the tracking to say “item delay” and to check back later. Previously my packages would take 8-10 days to cross Canada.

Is Canada Post brutally slow for anyone else right now?

I think it's just a west coast thing. The last package you sent me said it was in Vancouver for about a week then it was magically in the next town over.

Previous, including Christmas, it's been pretty good. I'd get my Maier order in about 7 days, Maritime would be about 9 days. But 11 days from Manitoba is just ridiculous. I'm being shipped a package from Calgary and sending another one out to Alberta so I'll see if they have the same delays or it's just BC. I love how Canada Post just keeps says that haven't lost the package, they just don't know where it is.... but not to worry it's enroute! I started a support ticket for the package but it just provides the same info as their app, so it's useless.

Since end of december I notice a small delay in shipping time from Canada post. They dont show as well tracking from place to place too.

On my side I have a package stuck at custom in Mississauga since January 6th that has not moved yet... (waiting for my Xvalve MFG mag )

I feel your pain. Have an Inception Designs order from Maier, a Spyder Hammer 7 and an upgraded Emek all in transit. All shipments from inside Canada too.

My package from Calgary, sent on the 17th , has landed in Richmond. Still no updates from my packages last seen on the 8th and 12th. Oh Canada Post, what are you doing?!

And they found my package that was been MIA since the 8th too! Lucky day. None will arrive until Monday, but looks like I'll get everything next week.

I dropped off a package on Tuesday and tracking history only shows it being accepted.

Tricky figuring out where the longest delays are happening. My 3 packages are literally from across Canada, one being from Nova Scotia, one being from Ontario and one being from Alberta. The Alberta shipment (as expected) has been the fastest and looks like it may even be delivered today. My Ontario package seems to have its delays moving from Manitoba to BC, taking 12+ days. My Nova Scotia package is due to be delivered on the 25th, so we'll see where it goes. I thought it was the Richmond sorting centre causing the most delays, but my Alberta package flew through.

I've had delays in Richmond and Mississauga. It's pretty much across the board

My package from Alberta made it through Richmond, out to my local office and delivered around 1:00pm, all in a single day! Yet my package from Ontario just arrived in Richmond today, less than an hour behind my Alberta package and won't be make it to my local office until Monday or Tuesday. Canada Post works in strange and mysterious ways.
