    Where in Quebec?

    Hey buddy, american here.

I'm taking a RV trip from NY through Quebec, to the top of Maine.

Anywhere cool to play or big games?

Action 500 in montreal sounds fun with indoor urban fields. Looks pricey, any other feedback?

Mirabel and Bigfoot are the two big fields that come to mind in Quebec. Never been to either.

Mirabel is SICK, and I would absolutely recommend a stop in.

Action 500 is a really nice indoor field that have been active since the early '90. Its directly in Montreal 15 min east of downtown. Its a sand field, your shoes will be very dirty after the games. The area can be divided in 4 fields but I prefer when we play on all 4 field at the same time (when there is not many groups). Monday night and thursday night (6pm to 12pm) is only 5$ entry and you pay for the balls you shoot (you need to know paint is expensive in general in the different place near Montreal, don't expect a bag at $30-40... but generally the more you buy the cheaper it get so if you are a group and split case its somewhat reasonable). I usually play open class pump there since there is usually a lot of new player in walk on group. Its usually really fun to play there. Thursday night is usually a good day to play there. Weekend game are fun but expect some groups + walk-on so the field will be split.
There are some nice bar and poutine place in the area after the game (will need to drive 5 min).

Paintball Mirabel (45 minutes nortg of Montréal) have really nice field. Great mix of field and friendly staff. They have a fun big game at the beginning of august that bring a lot of peoples. If you want to play outdoor, I really recommend this one.

Black ops paintball (formely known as Bigfoot paintball) is a ok field. Located 1h15 driving north east from Montreal. Fields nicely made but they tend to bring everyone to the central field "Armagedon" because its big and not many bunker to hide so people shoot a lot of paint and they make a lot of money on paint. They have a full size replica of a black hawks helicopter at the midle of the map, a nice and big 2 story high and a bacement bunker and several other buildings, very cool for scenario games. Marketing tactic use to be crap and they got sued few years ago before they change their name to Black ops with the new administration. Have not been there since 2007 so not sure how it is now.

There are 2-3 fields 1 hour south of Montréal but have not been to those.
