I have a built up Ruger 10/22 but I more so put it togeather for the wife to use. Going to give it a go in November. For the competitions I enter ORPS I Run a CZ457 Thumbhole Laminate in production class. Nothing crazy but it’s a great rifle very accurate and performs well, best yet didn’t break the bank. ORPS does not require much of a crazy rifle (although some do go nuts with some Olympic style stuff) it’s more about positional shooting building good fundamentals good time management and getting steady in unsteady positions. Highly recommend the sport but I gotta say building or piecing together 22 rifles is worse than paintball for addictive and costly.
