    I got scammed Facebook marketplace Winnipeg

    Just a heads up in case this gun comes up for sale again and I miss seeing it so you don’t get burned or I can at least call her out

    I paid for this Silver B2k to a seller name Liana Friesen from Winnipeg via EMT on Facebook marketplace

    she strung me along and never shipped

    if you see it don’t bother dealing with her and feel free to message me. It’s not a ton of money but I think this is only the second time in 10 years that I have had anyone in Canada cheat me in this way

                      If you can track her personal info down, I would call the local police department and see if they can investigate the fraud. I was able to get a marker back that way.
                      provided email, name, place of business, etc. Get as much info as you can, don't mention the police dept. They basically had someone show up speak with the guy and it was in the mail the next day. It took some time, but after they showed up it was a done deal.

                          This is why I rarely do any transactions on FB. That place is a trap. I hope you get it or at least get your money back. Like superman said, get as much info as you can on the seller. The digital paper trail is there and you can track her down.

                              Sorry to hear this. Always frustrating getting scammed. Generally I've had really good luck dealing with people, but I remember a guy selling a phantom on Kijiji and he sold it to like 5 different people and actually shipped it to one. I'll keep my eyes out and see if pops up again.
