I asked and got good advise on old MCB about where to play in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. I’m leaving Pittsburgh and heading up in a month or so, does anyone have recommendations for a field with a good walk on turnout? I’d prefer to go where I can play against more regulars, but am willing to settle, or travel.

When are you coming up? Splat Tag has their Giant Big Game September 13th.
For regular weekends MN Pro in Lakeville is normally pretty decent for open play. -
I’m actually stopped near Chicago on my way up right now. Might have to check out that big game, and definitely hit some weekend play before everything freezes solidComment

If you feel looking us up at the Giant Big Game I’m normally parked just in side the parking area with a red Subaru, a buddy and I might be camping as well, in which case we’ll have a huge 12x12 canvas tent.

I mostly play at Annandale. Major uptick in participants in the last few years and decent number most weekends. Call ahead and the owner will give you a decent forecast of numbers.Comment
