    Jaegers

Does Jaegers have daily use lockers? If not, where do you put your equipment in between games?

What are the facilities like? What refreshments and snacks are offered on site?

Is there a secret route to get there or does Google know the way?

What else does a Jaegers noob need to lnow?

Google got me there from Milwaukee. No issues there. I remember seeing lockers but everyone and everything seemed legit enough to have in your box/tote/backpack/etc...
I think my never drank Starbucks Flat White is still sitting at the registration table. Go ahead and have it if it's still there from last year's Caveball. They've got all kinds of vending machines. The bathrooms are what you'd expect for a field and in a cave. This is all a year ago recollection of what I remember what was there. I'm sure a true local can fill you in further.

In the cave there are lockers. I've never used them, and just keep my bags zipped up. Haven't had an issue.

"Food" on site is vending machine stuffs. The local pizza join knows where the field is, and will deliver (many parties use this) and I think others deliver as well. Outside food/drink is fine.

The "secret" way to get there when approaching from the west is here (https://goo.gl/maps/vwuNh2zyYJY2vvPBA)

Running water in the restrooms, plenty of staging tables, and a spectator area. I've also left my stuff zipped up, and didn't have any trouble. Unless some drastic changes have been made, you'll want a little ground clearance to get to the outdoor field parking area. Delivery pizza. There are signs on the road getting there, so you shouldn't get too lost. Once you get past the guard post, just go straight until you run out of road.

Say what? Viewers in the restrooms? What kind of place is this?

A guard post? To keep people in or to keep people out?

Define "ground clearance." Does a loaded Yukon count?

I was asking about unattended items because most of the guns I bring would be less than the turn of the century. I don't have any of the markers that could get you shivved, but I do have some older stuff I would rather not have to replace.

Do they allow Classic RT Automags? I can't fathom running this with any thing less than a force feed of some sort. No, I'm not trigger happy, I just happened to snag one at a good price. A friend went through it this fall and has taken it to the field. Apparently the trigger is very sensitive.

Do I understand correctly that Revvies are about the fastest loaders you can use? If so.. that mag might not be a good idea.

Do they allow two guns? I have a pistol or sidearms that could use a workout.

Anybody got a spare loudener for a Vector? (Thats pretty much the opposite end of the spectrum from my BOA'd ICD mechs.)

Well, THAT turned out to be an unfortunate use of punctuation, lol!
The field is located in a trade zone, so there's a guard shack. They'll wave you through.
Your Yukon will be fine. I had a Focus last time I was there, and it scraped a couple of times. The outdoor fields are literally on top of the hill the caves are carved into, and the road was more of a trail when I was a regular.

Bring a couple of locks for lockers, just in case.
Depending on your tank regulator, a Revvy would do ok with the R/T. If it likes to run away, I'd just use a tank with a lower output. It'll still shoot great, just not ropes.
I surrendered a guy that had a Cronus and a TipX as a backup. I was just using my homebrew Sydarm as my primary.
If you're taking a bunch of gear inside, go in and get a cart to haul it in. It's a bit of a walk when you're carrying it.

I'm thinking of going to the Kansas City area to visit with my family and Jaegers is on my list of places to play. If I went on a Saturday, what's the normal turnout? I don't have my timeline yet on when I'm going to go but if I go in November, is it going to be a bad time to play? I know they have the big game in March but I don't want to wait that long to go.

Weekends are nice and busy. Walkon fields are "no batteries", hoppers included. Let us know in advance and we will try to gather a crew.

OpusX What type of rentals do they do? I have one Emek but I would need another for my nephew. I'm ok with all mech no batteries but I don't have more than one setup. Is there a way to play electronic there other than bringing in my own group? I'm thinking I might try to head up there in the next couple of weeks.

Edit: Looks like they have tippmans. Is that still the case? I might just pickup another Emek if that's the rentals.

Cyberpyr8 Yeah 98s are the regular rental. There is also an open play field running 10.5bps. Not sure how busy that gets as I dont play it.

There are guys with emek and other space spooly mechs, but there are plenty of rentals and stbb or cocker players.

Sometimes you'll even run into these crazy fools playing pump or stock class 😂

I just bought another Emek. This way we can play on any of the fields.
