    This has been an absolute blast the last few years. One of the only pump games around!

    Guess who’s back? Back Again. Swampy is back, tell your friends…
    For 2025 we will be back at COLORS PAINTBALL in beautiful Fremont Michigan June 21st will be pump day and the 22nd will be Mech day
    (Feel free to roll in Friday afternoon for free camping for the weekend and musical entertainment by Swampy himself! We will have a set schedule of Old School games and from the looks of the field some KILLER WOODSBALL! Only $20 covers your weekend field fee and get ready for this it BYOP or $55 a case of GI Custom! And don’t forget a bad ass patch designed by Swampy and your first ticket to the Legendary Old Skool Raffle. You won’t want to miss this! You have to work? Screw work! You’re on probation? We will have government agents on hand to provide you an alibi! Your friend is getting married that weekend? Who cares you know he’ll get divorced! But the glory of Swampy’s Old Skool Game will echo through the centuries!    ​

      I want to make this happen. It sounds fun, and the only tournament I've ever played in was at Colors in 2004 (-ish?). My home field at that time, Bandit Paintball in Saginaw, MI, had a last minute dropout, so the owner asked me to fill in. I haven't made it back to Colors since.

      Any lodging and dining recommendations within 20 minutes or so of the field? I'm not too picky for either, but I'm not sure my back could handle a tent/air mattress after a day of paintball, especially if I'm playing the next day as well.

      Most importantly, the wife gave permission for both days, providing nothing important comes up.

          Colors is in a pretty rural area, so it's mostly woods for 20 minutes in any direction. Maybe some Air BnBs in Freemont or Twin Lake? Muskegon is the closest "big" city at 40 minutes from the field. Grand Rapids is about an hour.

              I've been telling myself for years to come down and play at these. I keep missing it... Next year. mark my words.
