7 BPS seems high for electros in a mech tourney imo. Punish them with 5.5. This is the way.-
Better yet, mech means mech! Allowing electrics, even with a handicap, is just wrong. Some paintballers sure are unskilled whiny little bitches who can't play with anything but their current favorite electric marker (two weeks from now they will hate it, and have to have the newest hotness that is basically the exact same gun, but "different"). An Emek can be had for cheap, and many markers have mech frames these days. -
Oh, i agree. I think they are just trying to get as many participants as possible, both from the mech players and the speedball teams. Last time had lower attendance than expected. But, i can't say much about switching to the new hotness since i switch marker focus quite often, even if they are all mechs and most are old (it appears to be a common affliction amongst paintballers new and old...).
