4th annual Summer Stockstice. June 26 @MSG

Alright stock class players, the 4th annual Summer Stockstice is around the corner!

•Saturday June 26 at MSG paintball in Middletown,NY.
•Gates at 8, games kick off at 10.
•Admission is $20.
•Field paint only. $20 a bag, $35 - half case and $65 a case
•I’ve been told they’ll have 12grams available, but due to the shortage, it’s probably wise to stock up before the game if you can.

We’ll be playing the usual mix of stock class and single shot games with the much anticipated return of the single shot showdown! For the uninitiated, this is a single shot free for all with the last man standing claiming ultimate victory, and the coveted “deadeye” patch.

I'm looking at booking a campsite nearby, about 30 mins from the field. Max 6 adults for each site, 30 bucks for the site total. If anyone wants in on it let me know. There are hot showers on site, grilling, fire rings, bunch of other stuff. Good way to do this cheap.

Looking to book it for friday night the 25th.

I'm booking a site tomorrow just to confirm at least one site for that friday night. We can drink there as long as we are quiet after 10PM, did not see any mention of any campsites being non-smoking. There are showers and bathrooms. Have to bring our own wood for fires, I have plenty to throw in the back of my truck to keep a site or two all set for the night. All hardwoods so good for cooking too.

I am free that friday so I'm probably headed out that way early to get checked in at the site and setup.

Alright, I’m 100% in. I’m trying to convince my group to play too. I have about 4 spare markers I can run SC (provided no leaks). Any chance there are a couple of of you that can bring some spare markers.....just in case??

I’ll be testing everything I have this weekend. Normally I would have spares for others, but it looks like I may have 5 or 6 guys trying it out.

Glad you can make it! Spare markers shouldn’t be an issue. Most guys have them. I’ll have 2 spares myself

I booked a campsite at the place I linked earlier. Can have up to 4 tents and no more than 6 adults total. Electricity and water right in the campsite.

The only issue is parking. Looks like only 2 cars MAX per site allowed. So one more vehicle besides mine allowed in the site. I will call on monday to see if there is additional parking available remote to the campsite, or if we just need to book more sites. I booked site #95, a more scenic one over by the river. There are still adjacent sites available that have elec and water.

Another idea I had was to see if we could have people park offsite @MSG friday night and shuttle people to the campsite. I don't know how the owners of MSG would feel about that though.

Even if we have to book more sites....Each site is only 30 bucks a night.

Sounds like you found a solid camp situation. I wouldn’t count on being able to park over night at the field, but I can ask if it becomes necessary

Came up in another thread that weekend is the anniversary of the first game of paintball. 40 years ago on June 27th.

Only seems appropriate to play some stock class in celebration.

Maybe a celebratory shot or something? Birthday cake at the end of the day? Just a thought.

Enjoy an awesome day of paintball at one of my favorite fields. Don’t forget to check out the proshop at the beginning of Bart Bull Road. They got a lil of everything it’s a really nice proshop. They offer a bunch of different grade paintballs there as well. You can buy it by the bag or case I have always had good luck with the paint they offer. I’m not sure how many 12g they have left the Mag fed guys have been buying them up lately so plan accordingly. Call ahead if you need them see what Sherry has left.

Unfortunately I will not make this one as it lands on the day I’m celebrating my sons birthday. I know Arctic has a fun day planed and you will not be disappointed. The field rocks it plays really well. You guys are going to have a blast! Im sad I will miss this one. Catch you guys at the next get together.
