Anyone been to AG lately… any update on the parking lot/camping spot from last time? Heard there was potential for grass-like material to replace some of the dirt and rocks. Just curious.

Aric had talked about the possibility of some turf, don’t know the status of that. But I’m fairly certain I heard the extra netting he was waiting on has been installed along that side of the lot.

Here is the information I have regarding your latest questions and concerns...

T-shirts:
Now there is a sore F'ing subject! Suffice it to say that Stocktoberfest T-shirts with the lion design (or any other design) may be made sometime in the future, but there are no plans produce them this year or in the immediate future. I need to sell the inventory of stock class badass shirts that I had made in the spring, and recoup the money I invested doing that before I can even think about producing more shirts.

Camping on soft turf:
While I didn't expect this to happen given all of Aric's other priorities, he has just informed me that turf may be put down for the event. Like I said, the guy is pretty busy, so this will be a bonus for us if it does get put down, but there is no way to guarantee that it will be. I would recommend bringing a rake to get rid of any surface rocks and a cushioned ground cloth just in case.

Netting surrounding the new parking lot:
Apparently, the new netting has been fabricated and is currently awaiting shipping. Aric says that should be up "well before Stocktoberfest". Fingers crossed.

Food:
I will be in touch with the chef at AG and requesting a fun Oktoberfest-themed menu for the event. Brats, sauerkraut, big, soft Bavarian-style pretzels and possible Schnitzel. Obviously, it all depends what he can make and serve in a rapid fashion to a large group of customers. I'll also be asking Aric to have Oktoberfest beer on tap as well.
