Won't be making it. Home field is running a scenario that day and they're a guaranteed good time.

You guys see the Air setup they put into that Castle? The field design looks like it will play well with 3 teams to. It’s two narrow to have to worry about one team teaming up throwing off the balance. Actually looks like a lot of fun. 3 team format will totally work on that field. Looks like they are going to place a team at each end of that massive castle field with one in the middle. Castle walk threw looks like it will be a ton of fun. It’s got nice big windows and it’s well lit so you aren’t shooting at shadows all day like most castle games. If I wasn’t going to be on vacation I would totally check this one out.

They just posted the rules and it looks like it’s going to be really well run. Just a heads up only the front castle defense can exit up to a certain point. Not sure what team is what based on color but if you want close action the front of the castle will probably be the most challenging. Back side is best for newer players who don’t have to worry about getting run down or shot close. Inside the castle will have air but paint is carry in only and it’s wave spawn. One in dead box one out so it’s going to be a constant flow of paint heavy players ready to battle. They have buzzers at the entrance walls to need to hit for points. Attackers are tag and go off the back net looks like. Game resets so if you get a point you got to run back to the net and tag up. (Game is still live) last 15min of each match it’s purge style no respawn. So if you hear the siren play smarter. Good luck after seeing the generals (Big E, Simon, and that Mag Fed guy) and reading the rules it looks like they have really well run event. No shields, no invincible players, No FS it’s going to be a heads up blast for sure. I never liked 3 team games but it’s really two separate teams vs the castle and it looks like a dam good time. Im going to miss this one due to vacation but I’m definitely going to check this out in the future. It looks like they really put thought into this enjoy gentlemen. I look forward to seeing the photos of them killer pump guys talking those walls. Get sum!

I was talking about it at APE Sunday about those cabins and the Castle game with the Ragnastock guys. We plan on snagging one for an open play day there coming up I think. I’m Definitely going to look into one for the next Castle Jam. I got it bookmarked for our trip I appreciate the link. That’s going to be perfect for us. Plenty of stuff in the area for the wives/girlfriends to do. Sleeps a bunch and reasonable prices lil fire pit, grilling and chilling, can’t wait. I’m excited lots of great games and events planned for this year. -
Not to high-jack this, but where are they cabins you’re talking about Chuck E Ducky ?
Part of my weekend for the walk-on day is going to be a “field trip” for the kids in Philly so I plan to book something sooner than later and want to be close

You have to run up your teams 3 flags before you can score a point. Two flags are between the castle and the forward bunkers. The 3rd flag is on the side of the castle. Everybody shoot at the windows while a team charges the flags.
They will move a lot of paint at this event. I'll have to bring my VM98.Sic transit res publicaComment

My ears were ringing. Flounder gave out ear plugs but I didnt put them in. The castle is made of sheet metal shipping containers so the thumping of paintballs hitting the walls constantly was LOUD. It was hard to hear anything inside. The floors were a little slippery but it was a lot of fun. I think this place would be fun for a pump/stock day. -
Awesome that’s exactly what I was thinking. You can get private games at 15 player mark for about what it cost for a walk on day. I’m hoping to drum up enough interest to get a Pump/ Stock Class day going.

Each team defended once and attacked the Castle from the front and from the back. Played great. The Castle, especially the walls is designed great. If you get lazy you are going to get shot by someone shooting through a window behind you. Some windows line up with doors and you can get a shot into the "courtyard".
All in all the field was amazing.
Now to spend the rest of the day, and maybe all of tomorrow. Listining to my body remind me that I am not in my early 20's anymore.Originally posted by MAr "... Nish deleted it..."
