I’m shooting for approximately 9:00am when they open. Hopefully they get a big walk on turn out and we won’t have to split up. Looking forward to balling with you guys. Washing my gear and packing for tomorrow now. See you Gentlemen in the AM. PAINTBALL!
Definitely it’s a ride for most of us I think. I usually travel north for most of our get together games. I will let you know how it goes judging from what I hear it’s a pretty nice place
to play. Looks like there are some nice places to camp in the area close by if we run a game out of there.
Ha ! Great day fellas and thanks for all coming out today for a meet up. MCB guys all behind a bunker nearing the end of the day when we had little run left in us.
Flying bolts, killer breaks, redsquirrel ‘s “walk-off” bunkering, Daniel “John Rambo” Tiger raising the “single shot” bar and getting a killer elimination with his AirowGun (are you kidding me?), freshly aired out nipples, my new favorite dad joke from the MOD sent to keep us all in line….and the sketchiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in….
and let’s not forget the tightest jeans I’ve ever seen
I should have known it would be one to remember when “Valhalla Calling” pops up unsolicited on my Pandora Station right before getting to the hotel.
“Give me your freaks, your poor,
Your hibiscus masses yearning to brass wield,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the hungry, stock-classy to thy field,
I lift my lamp alongside Velcor!”
I think it’s well worth the trip for a event (CastleJam 2023?) or a private game. I think there are 12 or 14 fields. We didn’t play them all, apparently the castle gets HOT.
I spoke with a couple of the refs/proshop guys/gals. There are camp grounds 10-15 minutes away, so a weekend could be had down there.
Really nice proshop, Gun teching (geared for electros - they told NONOBLITUS that his “best bet” for a cocker bolt pin is eBay ). Free rides to and from the fields on RTVs.
It’s a good field, very modern, nothing like I’ve ever played before
Hahah yea that was funny the guys were like I said I would like a lobster for lunch when I asked if they had any bolt pins. They had no idea what I was asking for. Ummmm it’s an Autococker you fools.
found a real nice campground when everyone started talking about a trip there, really close to the field with great amenities.
i'd make a weekend of it if i head down, maybe throw one of the bikes in the truck bed and ride it over to the shore one night. grew up in NJ but haven't been to the shore since Sandy. good friend of mine lives on LBI.
