Year after year Slims games are the best playing paintball games I have ever played. The sportsmanship is unmatched. Games are intense, aggressive, and tactically played. AG fields are tight, full of cover and have tons of angles to play. It’s really a great time on and off the field. I look forward to them every year. You won’t regret it.

Fair warning. If you are going to camp out next weekend please pack clothes to keep warm at night. Wondeing if we can have a fire in the rock pit in the parking/camping lot.

i can bring an old grill i converted into a fire ring if we're allowed to use it in the camping area. Have a bunch of well seasoned wood to throw in the back of the truck. If not my small propane grill can double as a small space heater in a pinch inside my pop up. I grabbed a super cheap heated blanket for sleep time at walmart on clearance, if you have an inverter you may want to look into something like that.

It's going to be 40 or colder waking up Saturday morning, tough start to the day for CO2 use but whatever. Nice cool day for a change I've had it with the heat and humidity.

not bringing anything lighter than my 20degree bag. making a tent in a tent using moving blankets or quilts helps tent hold heat. unless tent is a 4 season it's designed for full ventilation at all times.

I got some I will be there early Saturday. Have you tried flipping it? Also make sure it hasn’t backed off the power tube. I put a lil light hold lock tight on mine. Sometimes the cup will back off with use if they aren’t tight enough.

I'll have a smaller propane grill and around 4 propane stove burners available for cooking. If you want to bring food you are welcome to use them. And french press coffee, grinder, and all the fixins.

Weather might be cold at night but looking incredible for during the days. I can't wait, hell I already started packing lol.

Definitely going to bum a hot cup off you. I usually stop for some kind of cold brew to throw in a cooler for caffeine in the AM but a hot cup would definitely get the Stock Class juices flowing after after sleeping off day one shenanigans.

I like my coffee to match my soul, cold, black and bitter so I’ll have a big thing of cold brew. You’ll need to bring your own cup and cream/sugar if you’re into that kind of stuff.

I was just informed by AG that the Roanoke and Tomahawk fields are now finally ready to play. We will be among the first players to play on them in their finished state. The new Roanoke field has fifty eight (58) buildings on it. I find that hard to believe, but Aric has never lied to me, so it looks like we’re all about to be impressed!

I was there last weekend I did hear hammering from over there. I never heard of tomahawk before. Maybe they are splitting Roanoke into town and village areas.

There has been huge changes near the castle and there is a good real hyperball field now. They are still working on improving it but it's been in the playable rotation.

Most everything else is the same from spring.

Yes, Roanoke was divided into two fields with the teepees on the top (now called "Tomahawk"), and all the buildings on the lower part - now just Roanoke. We have the ability to play both fields at once - which we may on Sunday. The hyperball field isn't ready yet, but even if it was, it wouldn't be part of the field rotation for these events. If a bunch of guys ever want to play it, we can take a vote and play it later on in the day.
