That was fun. Thank you all who came out. You guys are what make these events great. I for one had a hell of a time. Lots of laughs and great battles. The Facility is actually really nice Paintball is just one of the many things they offer there. Next time Im definitely bringing a bathing suits cuz that massive slip and slide looked like a-lot of fun. Restaurant was on point with great selections of food and Drink on tap for both lunch and after action activities. Definitely a first for me was riding the chair lift to those upper fields definitely beats walking up there that’s for sure. The Ice water really came in handy that was a nice touch as it was a warm day. The fields are fun to play especially with the pistol setups. It was a nice way to change things up. My favorite games were the ones on pipes and the speedball field. Bryson pulling off that epic win on the Birthday Ball game with that super cool “Golden Gun” ( gold printed box gun over a PGP) it was super cool I’m pretty sure he made it just for this game to. They have plans for more fields and the current ones are a work in progress. But I have to say it was a great day with a great group of ballers.
Thank you Chris for putting this together. I know you were stressing all the little stuff but in the end it turned out great. Weather held out gloriously, custom headbands came out great. Everyone seemed to have a good time. Game formats were fun. I like the idea of the point system we discussed. Looking forward to the next one.Comment

Yeah, definitely some growing pains for both me and the field, but I’m feeling pretty good moving forward organizing an event or two.
To add to what you said about upgrades, they’re also planning on building a parking lot closer to the field so we won’t have to deal with that long walk in. That will be a GAME CHANGER.

For those of you who don’t know what the point system idea was…
We played a game where two people (Jonny and Jeepers) had a “License to Kill.” They both had single shot markers and infinite respawns until their team was eliminated. It played perfectly fine, but it didn’t really add much to the game. Moving forward, I’d like the try the same concept only each time the “License to Kill” player is eliminated, it’s worth a point. That will give the rest of the team more purpose and add some strategy to the game. Obviously, the team with the most points once the LTK player is eliminated for the final time wins.Comment

That game was pretty fun. I even got the final kill on Jonny with my "golden" gun. I agree a point system could be fun. Make it a set time and most LTK eliminations wins. -
JeeperCreeper - Billy (one of the ER2 guys) & I were firing on Jonny unsuccessfully from the side, when you got the elimination. It was poetically beautiful that you, as the fellow LTK guy, won the game.

Hogan’s has posted about 150 pictures of our game today on their Facebook. It’s a nightmare for me to save them because I don’t have the app and I’m only on my phone, but there’s a ton of great action shots.

Thanks Riot for setting up the game today, I had such a good time! Just the sound of the pgp’s echoing off the mountain was enough for me! But seriously the format and venue was a blast. The footage is hilarious by the way.

I'll pile on and say that was definitely a good time. Riot, nice job and I'll be back next year. I've got 364 days to find a couple more pistols or a decent CO2 changer for my PGP. I was jealous of all the sexy brass.

Well folks that was a helluva day of paintball! I can say with certainty that was the most unique and challenging days of paintball that I have had in years. The added challenge of pistols made for an interesting day of play and added another element that was a friggin' blast
Hogan's new field was an experience. Firstly, indoor bathrooms with running water?!!!! I thought the airball was great, I enjoyed the barrels and hyper field, but I think they need a little tweaking to balance out properly. The woods field was decent, but I think there are a few dead zones that need to be addressed. I survived riding the ski lift, but I apparently missed out on the best view of the day
I had a great time and would absolutely go back. Thanks to Riot to organizing everything, not bad for a first event

I sure had a lot of fun for an event that I originally had no intention on attending. Thank you to Riot for putting this on and getting us all together. Like others, I really enjoyed the Airball & Hyperball fields. The views 😍 from the ski-lift were top notch as well. I'll for sure attend next year and maybe even with a real pistol. 😁Comment
