FINAL UPDATE:

• Metadyne Beta testing: For those who missed the announcement, Metadyne Industries has sent me their new marker, "The Phoenix" for pre-production beta testing at the event. It arrived yesterday and certainly has some innovative features I found interesting. Unfortunately, there was a leak in the gas-through-grip macro line fitting (yeah, the version I have has a gas-through-grip!), so Metadyne is over-nighting a new fitting. Hopefully I'll get it today and will be able to get it fully functional for beta testing at the event. Fingers crossed. If I can repair it, and you would like to try it out for a game or two, see me in the morning (Sat or Sun) and you can test it if it's available.

• Regarding the weather... it looks like it is going to be wet and chilly on Saturday and Sunday, so be prepared. Bringing warmer clothes and layering is recommended. Gloves and water-proof boots is also a good idea. Fortunately, most of the fields we play on still have dense foliage which will provide us with overhead cover during game play. In the past, the tree cover has worked well as a kind of umbrella. If you have a 10'X10' EZ-UP/pop-up canopy, you may want to bring it as well for the staging area. Also, remember to bring electrical tape to cover up the view ports on your feed tubes to help keep your paint dry. The high humidity will mean larger bore inserts and barrels too.

• Staging Area: The staging area has been modified! The Port-O-Lets have been relocated to the parking lot area so the section where we normally congregate is now larger. The Stock Class HQ and Handmade vendor tents will be set up where the Port-O-Lets were. There may be one additional vendor tent set up there for Vito and his parts table as well. Feel free to bring additional 10'X10' EZ-UP/pop-up canopies as they can be set up in front of the existing larger tents to provide extra cover from the rain. Apparently, there is plenty of room there now.

• The Freedom Feast pig roast is shaping up to be epic. I was told that HALF of the pig represents over 170 pounds of meat! LOL! I also found out that the pig was raised on the farm that's around the corner from the field - locally grown and harvested, "farm-to-table" and all that.

• The paint selection has been expanded and AG is currently offering seven (7) different kinds of paint with multiple grades. Aric can give you all the details.
