Yesterday was my first ever SC game and I gotta say - this was, by a significant margin - the best group of folks I’ve ever played the game with. Big thanks to slim for everything, involving my group and keeping the hype train moving every game. Wicked awesome dude.

thank you to everyone there yesterday. Pure sport skill and camaraderie. What it’s all about. Brought me back to being a kid playing in the woods with unchronod guns until our tanks ran out

I am absolutely hooked. Wish I could play SC all the time.

What an awesome weekend! You guys and gals make the event what it is. Lots of new faces this year with a fantastic turn out. AG was looking great I love the new additions to castle and the 10man hyper pipe field changes played great that was a ton of fun playing SC with those numbers on the field. I loved the old Zipper but the changes AG made are nice. As always the fields played awesome. We combined some fields for our large numbers and it definitely changed stuff up this year. The vendors were slinging some fine goods this year. From super cool printed products, to used old school classic goods, and some of the finest custom gear from Handmade. (Loving my new gold and black flying skulls tie back)

The battles were intense this year we had some really great ballers out there this year. The level of play was top notch quality paintball you can only get at events like this. Good food, good friends, good battles. Looking forward to falls game.

Just got home! Thank you all that put this on and welcoming us yet again. It was definitely the best event I’ve had this year so far. Was just chatting with my buddy the whole 7 hour ride home about the cool guns we saw and all the fun gun fights we got into.

              stoked for the next one!

Though I was only able to play Saturday I had a good time catching up with old friends and dicking around in the shanty town. Thanks to all creatures big & small for all the vibes and bullshit.

As of now it looks like I should be able to attend both days of Stocktoberfest, so gird your loins for 48 hours of raw unfiltered Jonny

I took a few days to compose myself after having a rough weekend from a bad knee and gun issues. I write this in the positive spirit of experience of 33 years of play. The game that slim and aric assembled is by far one if the most fun experiences a player can have. The players that attend are the best! In experience, personality and sportsmanship.this game is a must experience for all who play this sport. I would like to thank slim for assembling this and aric for being a great field owner. The Ragnastock guys for the hospitality and good talk. My buddy Corey and the pirates,i mean Extreme Discharge( kidding riot) for some lunch.the overall people and conversations are half the fun and i thank you all for that and hope for many more. Keep safe all and see ya in the fall.

Greeting stock-class fans! For those who missed it, this year's Spring Stock Classic was another epic weekend that highlighted the skill, sportsmanship and camaraderie that we've come to expect from these events.

Early arrivals started drifting in late Friday afternoon and started setting up in the camping and vendor areas without much fanfare. A passing shower early on Saturday morning delayed the games by 15 minutes, but the wait was worth it. Each year the Wild West scenario gets bigger and bigger, and this spring was no exception. The day started off with the "True Grit" mission, but only one player was able to complete it. Congrats to Jonny for saving poor "Mattie Ross". The attacks on "The Alamo" were intense and the improvements being made to all of the fields were a welcome surprise.

The Wild West Quick Draw Competition had a total of 16 participants, which made for perfect brackets. After a speedy turnaround, our friend Jesse took first place yet AGAIN with his custom single-shot marker!

The Wild West missions continued after lunch where we tried some new field configurations and a flag advance format with the intent to increase the action. Unfortunately, the rain came back, and the day ended a little earlier than we would have liked.

Thankfully, the rain held off again for the coveted 10PM Toast. This year, the toast honored two veteran players - CraigO and Derek B., who are celebrating their 40th year of paintball! Big thanks to Aric od Adventure Games and owner of the Snack Shot for sponsoring the toast by providing players with FREE shots during the toast! By an overwhelming consensus, it was decided by all the players that the 10PM Toast needed to be changed to a much earlier time. Going forward, the toast will now be known as the "Stock-Class 7PM Toast"!

We were welcomed with much nicer weather on Sunday for the main event. Due to old age and an addlepated brain, the event organizer failed to remember that Sunday's focus was to be the US versus Canada "rivalry". Fortunately, none of the players seemed to remember eaither. With both the Canadian General (Alex) and the US General (Dave) playing on the same team at times, it seemed the real focus was just on having fun! Suffice it to say, that mission was accomplished!

The day ended with smiling faces and a few proud players displaying their hard-earned bounty medals and flag capture patches. The exact attendance numbers were 53 players on Saturday and 65 players on Sunday for a total of 76 individual players over the course of the whole weekend.

Many thanks to everyone who attended. You guys make this event as great as it is. Again, special thanks go to all those who travelled long distance for this event. When you have "regular" players coming from Canada, Florida and Virginia just to play stock-class, then you know it must be worth it.

Special thanks to Aric, our refs, the crew at the Snack Shot and his entire staff at AG for hosting us. Big thanks to Jesse for running the Wild West Quick Draw competition, and "AtomJaay" for always providing cool, FREE 3D-printed swag. Thanks to Brian L. for always going above and beyond when it comes to providing amazing food for all the campers!

Finally, deep thanks to Vito for his continued support of this event and vending all of his vintage stock-class wares, Mike Holt for supporting the format and vending his 3D-printed stock-class items, and Colby (and Timber Ghosts team) of Handmade Paintball for making the long-distance drive and vending all of his high-quality soft goods.

                      Long live stock-class! Huzzah!
