Only when I am burdened with you on my team. You are more likely to shoot me or yourself than the other team.

Either way, I'm still counting it as an elimination.

Dang, there's no way I can make it to this, April is pretty full for me. I would absolutely love to, though. It sounds like tons of fun.

        this right here^
I could be easily convinced to buy a splatmaster however.

A vague and faded memory recalls SC Phantoms were allowed. But, the SC feed was removed, making it a single shot/feed marker....does that make sense to ya? I'm going to suggest borrowing a few from the dozens of "loaner" markers that will surely be there.

In past events, Phantoms were not permitted unless they were single shot only. That said, there will be no shortage of PGPs available that day.

          im a little confused.
so this is a stock class game but if you have a phantom, youve got to play single shot?
ive got no problem with that at all, just wanna make things clear to my other buddies who are interested in comming

would a retro 7 be allowed?

          duckslide phantom/redux?

          is the issue barrel length?

The game started out as a PGP specific event, but grew to allow classic pistols like 007s and Splatmasters. It's not a stock class game per se, but rather an old school pistols event.

ok, that clears things up a bit.

              so yay or nay on

              -retro 7

              -duckslide phantom

              both have shorty barrels

Whats the real difference between a phantom with a 6 inch barrel, no stock, and an over barrel pump kit over a Nelson, or a splat master?

I'm not the one to make that call, but the end goal has always been to keep markers limited to PGPs, Splatmasters, Nelspots, and single shot pistols (with the exception being whatever plastic POS COB shows up with).

just seems funny to allow pretty much the exact same thing, but draw the line at phantoms. Another nelson style pump gun/pistol lol.

All we ask is that we keep the game as it has been for the past ten years. It's been a very successful annual event where everyone has a lot of fun. The more exceptions we start making, the more it becomes less of what it's been.

I could see your point if it wasn’t a nelson platform, but seems more grasping at straws to not make change, especially weird, since they already allowed some change to include nelsons and nelsplats.

Seems like I dont have to, to understand gatekeeping and fear of change.

Disappointing that a pistol phantom and a nelson are the same thing.

Im not worried about playing open class, I do that every weekend. It’d be nice to play stock class with a bunch of people, its just too bad this particular group is afraid to use a different nelson platform pistol.

If this game bothers you this much you would hate our SMG game.
