MFOG at Xtreme Paintball in Agawam MA - Sunday November 17th 2024

Hey folks,

I wanted to post this up for anyone not on socials. I haven't been to any MFOGs this year so I thought I'd join capitalpaintball for this one.

DEETS:

• Magfed meet-up/rec. day (hosted by Spectre, whoever that is)
• Will be MFOG if there's enough players (not sure what that number is)
• BYOFSR is a $10 fee on top of entry ($20 if you do it online ahead of time)
• Round ball will be FPO
• Games will have mixed formats (elimination, CtF, etc.)

As a disclaimer, I have not played with this group before and can't speak to their attributes, nor can I speak to what they consider magfed. If you have questions about what markers are allowed/not allowed reach out to the organizer on social media. I will be shooting a single shot trracer and a magfed Bolt pump.

I'm assuming that single shots are fine cause hand-loading should make the gravy seals bark, but who knows in this realm.

Riot funny thing is I technically have a magfed marker. I just put the magfed adapter on my 98. Hehe

Per the event organizer (and thanks to ChuckLove for reaching out):

"I don't see a problem, limited ammo of course, just a heads up though melees and aggressive players may be coming, some may not fully understand xtremes rules on firing through cracks, most are respectful, but you never know who's coming"

So from my interpretation, spring feeds are fine and the emphasis is on limited paint. I would imagine stick feed is okay too, seems like what constitutes magfed is fairly loose. I would heed the warning that there may be some hot-blooded types at this event and to prepare your expectations and play style accordingly.

Riot clarify your English boy. I'll be shooting mags, but at their core a mag is just a milsim'd spring feed.
