Hell yeah! Im in 100% The VM and Pro-Lite needs its pound of flesh!

For those interested and haven’t been to APE. It’s a great choice for running this. They got some awesome fields and it’s one of the few BYOP fields still around. Lots if large old school fields from pipes to mounds and natural terrain.

This is going to be a good one Gentleman this field can definitely support a large group and if we get a turn out like last year it’s definitely going to be a good one.

That's a bummer about no c02. I was really hoping to use my VMs in the stuff. I'm not even sure they will cycle on 02 in the current config. Spyders it is maybe?

Ha VM68’s have caused me many a day of swearing. I believe they operate just fine on HP at like 800psi. I broke up my relationship with them back in the 90’s when working on those beasts as a rental fleet.

800+ PSI HPA will operate a VM no problem. It won’t get as many shots to a fill but we play like pump players anyway. I shot my VM last year on HPA. Your limited to tank size due to the under barrel setup but it will run on HPA no problem just got to feed it enough pressure.

This is an available loaner gun for the event. Just rebuilt and tested Line SI Promaster!
Docfire had this along with a Bushmaster and I picked up the package. Did some work on it and it is kicking.

You will need a tank putting out 750-800 PSI. I just tested it with my 775psi tank and shot 275 279 279 279. It doesn't shoot fast, but it shoots darned good.

BTW, if you have one of these swapping to a tapered spyder valve pin from the stock got me a 60fps jump in velocity.
Some folks have had trouble hitting velocity with the large bore barrel and compressed air.

I should be good to go. So far i have 2 vm68s that are running but share a bolt (on co2, I will probably just bring filled tanks with me), an old spyder mech that shots good after the rebuild, a pump trilogy if needed and like 5 electro spyders that i think work but i need 9.6v batteries to know for sure. I hoping to track some down soon, not so easy to find these days.

Anyone know roughly what size the field balls are at Albany? All i have is like .690 and up barrels so i may buy some smaller ones.

June is pretty far away to know for sure. But they typically sell Valken Graffiti which has landed between 679 and 684 in the last year for me.
