Pump Day at Poco Loco (Schwenksville, PA) May 17, 2025

Poco Loco Paintball is running some pump games for our local group on May 17th. It's an open invitation here and elsewhere (for anyone who isn't driving up to Slim's in NH). So I'm posting it here for visibility outside the Expendables subforum.

Nothing fancy, standard field fees at the park. Bring anything pump or pump-adjacent.

It really is a unique field. It's just a slight but long grade to get to field.

I was at the field yesterday with a couple of buddies, and confirmed again that we're good for May 17th. I may have also enticed a couple of new people into trying pump; we'll see who shows up!

I've been working on a special project for this game. The idea started with making a Tiger tank type muzzle brake for a pump gun. My son Jason 3d printed several for me to play around with. I did and learned a lot!
This type of muzzle brake lessens recoil by defecting the blast rearward, which pushes the barrel forward to counteract the recoil. It also does this with sound, which is not a good thing when using a Trracer, as I was. This is not a loudener it is a deafener.
I used a Trracer breech cut for FS and a AGD Micro-CA II.

I might not make this one. I had 2 more trees come down with this week because of the rain. I may spend my saturday cutting them up. Don't know yet.

Really? Once they are down, they can't run away. You can cut them up Sunday while regretting your play on Saturday.

What time is everyone planning on getting there at? I have a 2.5 hour drive up so I don't want to be too early.

I'll be there around 9:30am when they open. That's just because I like having extra time to get ready and deal with the inevitable "damnit, this marker worked at home" situations.

Based on previous excursions, I expect most people will trickle in between 10 and 10:30. If we're playing before 11am I'll be shocked.

Just to be clear for us Expandables, when you say 10:30, are you referring to a time or date?
