3/22/26 - Magfed Meet-up @ Liberty Paintball

Hey folks,

Figured I'd post this one up with a month or so advanced heads up. After years of being begged, I have agreed to join Riot 's pun-based magfed team Totally Clips of the Heart, and will be rolling with my rainbows on 3/22 for the magfed meet up game at Liberty Paintball in Patterson NY. If anyone from the Northeast crew wants to join the fray we'd love to roll together as much as we can.

Disclaimer, I have not been to Liberty Paintball, nor have I played any MFOGs with this crew, so I can't speak much to how the game will be run. The fields look fun, and the fact that the organizing body is "1SOK" (which I assume is one shot one kill), I hope it'll be more in the vein of limited paint enthusiasts versus cosplayers, but YMMV. I do not know what they consider a magfed marker, I will be using an MG100 and Bolt pump. If you want to use a stick feed or hand load you'll have to do some research first.

Field paint only, they have FSR and roundball available. Shields are allowed, but must be used with a pistol or sigh melee.

No idea if gun hits count, I hope so if they're allowing shields, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As a FYI for everyone, I reached out to the field a couple weeks ago for clarification to see what is considered “mag fed” with no response yet.

I have low expectations for the game, but high expectations for TCOTH.
Don’t be a dweeb an use a pump marker for a magfed game… just go find a pump game, ya freakin’ weirdos.

Stock class is actually a disadvantage compared to semi spring loaded magazine guns.you would think more the merrier,but thats just me.

That’s why I mentioned that since they seem to be more into the limited paint they may be more into other formats, but I know the aesthetic is part of it for some folks

The mag feed “meet up” are often more lax on the rules compared to events. Is there an event link for it?

My hand fed bolt action first strike marker has always been mag fed compliant but I want to make sure before I take off and drive 3hr to play.

According to Libertys website the 22nd is just a “walk on day” it’s likely organized like our pump get togethers. I don’t think it will be super coz play orientated. They just know they can meet the 15player minimum for a private game. We could probably host a pump day there as well. Only reason I haven’t looked into it is the regular FPO paint is notoriously bad and expensive. The fields are super cool though. First strikes will definitely make it fun eliminate the paint issues and looks like they dump the surrender rule they use for walk on games. I’m looking forward to it.

Arrow bows are often allowed so is the Dukie DSG and any Breach loads. Is anyone on Facebook that can confirm this? I only own breach load magfeds. Unless I can get the Arrow bows going in time.

The guy running the game said that stock class and hand loading single shots are ok. I think that if you have or can get something that’s magfed that you should use that though.

Same as we’d expect if someone showed up to one of our pump games without a pump gun. We’d probably let them play if they aren’t assholes but it would be better if they followed the rules.

This will be my first full on magfed game and I’m going to show up like I would to any game, there to have fun and more than my share of sarcasm.
