Boston Paintball - Ashland Location for Sale

Saw a news article pop up on Facebook and it looks like Boston Paintball is selling their Ashland location. It appears to be staying open until the sale goes through and the paintball business is not being sold with the location. Looks like that may be it for indoor in New England, next closest indoor is Hornet's Nest in New York.

There are way better options in the area. The Ashland apocalypse field is really cool, but the paint is trash and the other 2 fields are meh.

Yeah it was cool because it was one of the last few indoor spots in the Northeast.

The older spot they had was way bigger it had two full size Xball fields with lots of staging area.

We did it in like two feet of snow at OSG one year, it was fun but by game 3 I was exhausted.

Unfortunately it looks like paintball is dieing off in the northeast.

I don't want to see any place close. But maybe if they didn't sell the WORST paint anyone ever shot, they would have more repeat business.

Based on what was there bread and butter (Rentals mostly) they don’t know the difference and it kept the profit margin higher.

Pump Kings started at BPS Ashland. It's not a great field but we sure made the best of it. With that said, I'm not really surprised that they are trying to sell the location. Real Estate in the greater Boston Metro area is out of control

They don't seem to have much of a regular player base and really only cater to birthday parties. Boston Paintball as an organization focuses their efforts into their tournament field in Maynard where they host events. You can tell by the non-speedball centric fields at Maynard that ownership doesn't particularly care for recball.

Well this sucks, I love the apocalypse village field it's one of my favorite ones. Not sure what we're going to do now unless we can find somebody that has their own private building or something. Hopefully they'll still be open come December and maybe we can still have the event there one last time.
