"VA vs NC - After America" scenario game @ Splat Brothers, 7/16 & 7/17

July 16 & 17 @ Splat Brothers Paintball in Hopewell, VA.

Anyone (or teams) planning on playing this? I've seen some of the props, missions and podcasts floating around, should be a blast!

Never heard of the field, is this a home field for you? Looks like an interesting field and not outside a reasonable range for me. What can you tell us about the game and players?

Not a local field for me (2.5 hours away). I've also never played there, but I do have some friends and teammates that have. Field looks like a mix of structures (buildings, spools, etc), trenches, woods, and open fields. The owners have a few fields in VA and NC (Bethel & Chesapeake in VA, and Blackwater and Hematoma in NC) so I imagine they're all run the same in case you're familiar with those (I'm not). I know that there will be food there and camping is free. And for $120 for a 2 day game and 2 cases of paint....the price is right

Tim Grimstead of 13th Legionairs is the Producer/Promoter. The game is a mix of missions and territory grabbing. Tanks, Shields, Launchers, First Strike Rounds and Medics are all part of the game. I saw pics of a bunch of state/side specific barrel covers, so I know there's game swag as well. The generals and Tim were on David "Reaper" Justins podcast talking about it a few weeks ago, and will be on Fred Shultz's podcast coming up in the next few days. If you're on Facebook, do a group search for "After America : NC vs VA" - it's public and has a lot of details and pics. Based on the team and player commitments that I've heard of so far, I would estimate final player count to be in the 200-300 range.
