First, I feel like Extreme is for some reason the second most used word (after paintball) in the naming of paintball fields.

Anyway, apparently in 1/27, this place is reopening after 20 years?

Anyone know anything about it? Over in Six Mile.

xtreme team was likely out of georgia. I know Gant Maclellan was one of those guys.
Also cool that your in little River occasionally. I am further south in Mount Pleasant, SC.
I wish that was open when i was going to school in Clemson.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't thinking about changing my plans for that day and going to opening day. It's a scheduled pump day.... But how often do you get to go to opening day of a new field.

Hmmm, interesting. I seem to remember the name from the past but I do not think I ever played there. I will reach out to some of my old time friends from that area and see what they remember. I would be interested in checking it out but that is the PBC Pump day for January so will need to see how that is panning out. I need to play it has been too long (Nov) since I played.

A Google search shows that “Carolina Extreme” or “Carolina XTreme” or some version of it is EXTREMELY popular for a business name, product, or sports team. Not just in 1998 either, now.

Xtreme Regret Carolina Reaper & Scorpion Hot Sauce may be the most self aware, Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Extreme Eau de Parfum possibly the least…with its lighting bolt shaped bottle. Sure, it’s affordable, but who wants a scent described as both “bad” and “extreme”? That’s free, bad boys.

Further looking seems to show that the place that went out of business a long time ago was XTreme, this new one is the longer harder to spell version of Extreme. KNOW YOUR EXTREMITIES!

Soon the Extreme 90s and acid green will be as old as Elvis music was when I first went to a retro 1950s style diner in the 1980s. Talk about played the hell out verbiage.

Extreme Outdoors is the business that was in Six Mile years ago. It shut down in 2008 due to the recession. One of the main owners has reopened a field now which is Carolina Extreme Paintball.
