Fields Near Charlotte NC

I'm in the process of starting a new job with a company in Charlotte and at some point in the next year I'll be heading out there for a visit, and it seems like a good opportunity to shoot some people in the face. Anyone know of good fields in that general vicinity, or is anyone from MCB in that general area? I'm partial to speedball / tournament play, but if I'm driving it isn't too hard to pack some extra pew-pew's for mech / pump.

William the Third how far are you guys from Charlotte?

Not sure how far you want to go, is probably further, but Palmetto Hills in Rock Hill is pretty awesome and has a pretty active speedball scene.

About an hour and a half or so west. That said, 74 once you get passed Shelby, and till you get to Columbus, isn't really heavily policed. So, if you've got a lead foot, as I do, you can do it in less.
