Hey all, I moved out of the Sacramento area a number of years ago but I'm back down here for the next month and figured I'd try to get some paintballing in at Davis. It didn't look like Davis rents out HPA tanks alone, but I sent them an email anyway. If that fails, does anyone have an extra HPA tank I could rent from them for a couple weekends? Or even a tank that is in good hydro but near the end of its life that I could buy? I'd appreciate it, thanks!

the Davis field is sketchy ... if you can make the drive to Vacaville, Midway is the best run field in the region.

You can buy 48/3k tanks for $30 these days. They will probably be a few years into their life but if you just need something to get you through that's what I would do

Do you know if Micah is still running Davis? Kind of surprising to hear that as I don't think that would be something he would tolerate. I've been out of the game for almost a decade and I guess anything can happen.Comment

Not sure, the owner reached out after i mentioned it in public a while back (its been a few years now), and they seamed so disconnected with their own field ...
I dont have time to play alll that often, so i have very low tolerance for bad field management these days 😅

Davis was my home field until i moved out of state. Sad to hear reffing has gone downhill. I was a ref & a customer, and they were one of our team sponsors, for the brief period of time that team existed. A few years after moving away, i emailed them about new shirts, and Micah sent me one for free. I still hope to get back for another Big Game someday.
I heard about a spot that popped up in Fairfield in (relatively) recent years. If you feel like slogging down 80 to check it out. I'm certainly curious.Comment

I ended up just getting the $25 tank from ANS along with some other gear. Micah did email me back and said they do 5$ tank rentals. I think I'm still going to hit up Davis while I'm down here as long as the weather cooperates.
Trbo, I've been wanting try to do Supergame since I found out about it a couple of years ago. I live down in Klamath Falls, but the drive isn't too bad. I'll be on baby leave starting the last week of April, so my chances of making it this year aren't very good hah.Comment

Oh yeah I feel you there. You stay there and take care of the family.
If the baby comes early and you can get away for the weekend shoot me a message, we will have extra camping space.
Or just come up for the Saturday game only that's an option as well.
