I'm going to pull the trigger on one in the next couple months. I am definitely excited about it.

Same! Love mine, and have had no issues with it. And the maintenance really is minimal.

I ordered one! I got the gold filter as well. Quick question, is any undiluted antifreeze good to go for the 7:3 antifreeze to distilled water mix, or is there a brand you would recommend? I'm really looking forward to getting this thing, it should come early next week.

Question: I have probably done 12 fills already, and it is awesome, but have you had any problems with blowing burst discs on your gold filter? I've yet to have any problems while filling the 3k tanks, but I have had three times when filling 4.5k tanks that are getting close to their fill and the gold filter will blow a disc. I feel like they are rated just slightly too low? I ordered some 5k burst discs to put in the filter and I'll see if that solves it. I very much appreciate the safety of the burst discs, but the discs keep blowing before I can get the bottle to 4.5k.

What gold filter did you get so I know to avoid it

      It's this one:

I feel like it has got to be a faulty batch of burst discs because after my last comment I put in another replacement burst disc that came with the filter and then that one blew at like 2.5k psi. I have a 5k psi burst disc that I just installed but I haven't tested it yet. I am hoping that will do it.

Hey guys---these are on sale for 529 right now. They're amazing for that. Mine is still doing great with very little maintenance.

Seconded. Mine has been awesome so far. Even used it to fill up my SCUBA tank from empty.

After talking to Chris here over a year ago after stumbling on his website I bought it, I love it. Use it all the time, just get a good filter for it.

I just ordered one of these through aliexpress on Saturday. I figured it was worth a gamble at 400. It was delivered by Amazon today. I'll report back if I have issues and have to deal with a return or warranty situation, but I thought it was something worth sharing that the ones on aliexpress are being shipped through Amazon.

Is it a knock off tho? Lots of knock off products are sold threw Amazon and aliexpress.

I don't think it's a knock off. If it is it's one of the highest quality fakes I've ever seen, if anyone knows if there is a definite way to tell I will try to verify. I mainly bought it because I have a Yong Heng and wanted something quieter that didn't shake everything off the table, this one is quiet enough that I could run it in the house without being annoyed and it still filled a 68/45 just fine.

I filled a 13/3k earlier and it only took a few minutes. The power supply says it outputs 13v 50a, but I'll put it on a power meter later to see how much wattage it pulls from the wall.

I'm also probably going to make a small distribution block to hook up multiple tanks at a time since it says it can run for so long, but that will be a bit in the future.

I just pulled the trigger on a GX CS3-1. These GX units really get great reviews. I'm curious to see how this one works out. Going to be handy for me and the kids around the house!

I really need to invest in one of these. Just need to stop buying markers lol

Have you tried running it off of a car battery?

Think it’s harder on the compressor to do so?

Is this a viable way to fill tanks for outlaw like come lunch time fill some 13ci -18ci for some pump play off a car bat?

Checking with a watt measuring device these were roughly the readings mine was peaking at (from the wall):

Power supply plugged in, unit off - 11w
Unit on but not started - 50w spike right at initial power on, then 40w
Unit started, valve open - 320w
          Unit started, valve closed 0-1000psi - 350w
          Up to 1500psi - 390w
          Up to 2000psi - 405w
          Up to 2500psi - 420w
          Up to 3000psi - 430w

I have one sitting in my shopping cart right now, just needing to get some bills cleared and make sure I have enough crazy money to use on vacation. I really need this there isn't anyplace near here to get recharges so setting up a couple of 3000 psi scuba tanks and get this compressor for topping off when needed. I miss tuning and teching markers and have not been able to do much because of a lack of air source in the shop.

This was the primary reason why I got the CS3-1. We would fill the tanks, I’d work on my Cocker, and then we would be out of air before we even got to play!

GX CS3-1 arrived yesterday. Works marvelously! I checked and tuned, and reconfigured 4-5 guns yesterday filling and topping off the 3 tanks I have (2x 48/3000 and a 48/4500). I do pause and let cool about every 10 minutes and it took about 15 minutes for the 48/3000 from dead empty. All in all, a very nice unit and will work for what I need perfectly!
