    HK RMX Goggle goggle

I got my HK RMX kit in the mail today, and I thought I'd post some comparisons to my flex bits of old. I wouldnt consider this as much of a review, as just an informational post. so much a review, but I said I would give the group my initial thoughts on these bottoms.

I'll say the rubber is thin, but firm. It feels more like the 05 flex bottoms in these photos, than it does the 02 squishy bottoms. Its also thin, but the edges they engineered into the soft material seems to give them decent scructure. They seem to size slightly smaller than flex bottoms, but larger than spectra bottoms.

I weighed all og the bottoms just for the grins of it.

    Spectra

    RMX

    05 Flex

    02 Flex

Pulled a tape from the left eye peg to the chin best I could.

    Spectra

    RMX

    05 Flex

    02 Flex

    Ears Dump

Let me know if you have any more questions.

How compatible are the JT parts?

Eh, depends on what you are after. They are lighter, and feel like decent quality, but don't breath as well as a flex from my basement tests.

They're side profile really says grill now that I have them in hand. I'll say, if you wish you could make a v-force, and a jt have a baby they may be worth it. But at the end of the day it's 80 bucks for half a mask, so its only viable for flex hoarders.

All in all, I'd say drop for most people.

It honestly seems fully cross compatible with the other ear styles I have. So I'd say the ears could be used on other bottoms, and vice versa.

Soooo, I'm gonna guess that there's no quick change lense system on this since it's basically all proflex compatible, right?

It uses JT goggle frames, so there's no difference at all with respect to lenses.

If they come out with one in highlighter yellow or hi-vis green I'd pick one up for a ref mask build. Otherwise, I'm good.

Do they sit closer to your face? Looking at the nose profile they seem like they do.

I like the look with the hard ears thanks for sharing. I bet they would look good with thin frames,

I'd say they do. Let me piece a mask together with a strap and see if I can't provide numbers tonight.

I was thinking about a set because it looks like they have a better profile for competition play. Then JT said they were coming out with purple clears I’m going to try and get a pair at cost. I got enough low profile masks + the JT don’t handle rain well at all. I feel like the bottoms look very VIO and the VIO all around performance is amazing definitely the best for the money. Yellow lens in the rain is clutch! Everyone else can’t see and you can 👌🏼

Jonnydread here is a few profile shots. They definitely sit a bit toghter to the face in the chin area.

For anyone wondering. Here are the clear bottoms with an older thinner frame.
