This guy can help you on the Idaho front.
jokers
I'm sure he will see this now
Also, why did you feel the need to split this into 3 posts? Just curious if there was some reason for it

I know of 3 people in SE idaho who play and there is one field in mid Idaho that is still open. (They answer the phone when called) I have just about everything that you could need and will make sure to help out if you need. As far as paint the best way is to get it through an online realtor since the only "local" place is a distance away.
I would be interested in recball, speed ball etc and if you want to come to Nampa there is a small field that I know of that you can test out markers and play see if you want to invest time and money into it. Not 100% sure they will be open but I can find out. Feel free to DM me if you want and we can organize something.

There are 3 places to play in the "Boise" area you have OPC, pyrrhic and a private field that just opened. Pyrrhic tends to be a lot of returning people and rentals, they are a little on the small side and things tend to get close. OPC is the good except you need to take everyone you want to play with or let everyone know you will be there, just a little far for walking on and quite likely no one will be there. The new one is "private" a couple of the guys that played out at OPC decided that they wanted to start something closer and this came around I have not been since they were setting up during the spring summer and opened late fall.

A lot of the old brands either closed up or were acquired by someone else. I don't think Redz is still around; NXE is owned by Tippman.
For loaders- the Dye Rotor is a beast, the R2 isn't bad, and I really like the Ctrl, other than the speed feed tabs. All of the new loaders work well and are a lot lighter than the old ones. I have not heard or seen good things from the HK loaders, but haven't used one personally.
edit: Forgot about the LTR- it is essentially the same as the original Rotor, just a little less flashy.Last edited by cellophane; 12-18-2023, 02:40 PM.

I have been really happy with my dye rotors. Not a fan of the r2. I used spires, but hated how slow they were. I shoot really fast in short bursts and the delay for the feeding the ball stack would cause me to chop. This is not a problem for most. Everything should work just fine. alot of people have been sticking to the dye ltr and spire ir's because of the price and performance.
soft goods are a crap shoot. alot of stuff is owned by Kee/GI/empire/Jt.... all under the same umbrella.
carbon is a pretty solid company, expensive but they make nice stuff.
pod packs are not made like they used to be. much more elastic that wears out relatively quickly compared to those in the past.BeardedWorks.com (Your Inception Designs and Shocktech Dealer)
