As far as good things. Ive been on Spectra/proflex's since the product launched back in the 90s I think. anhyway, ive tried lots of different masks over the years always coming back to the spectra series. In getting my gear back up last season I found my foam had dryrotted and I didnt feel like hunting down a new retainer again and went mask shopping. I tried a few but when I put on the EVS i knew id found my mask. I can wear glasses with it and there are fans available to work with it as well.

I saw palmers going out mentioned and mags as well. The Phantom is now made by different people, so far theyve treated me pretty well. the people in the custom Brass game are kicking some ass with incredible work. tanks are a little more affordable and better options.

You have come to the right place, there are a bunch of guys building their own.

WALZ is our OG brass legend! Definitely check his stuff out.

Araphel made a super cool Titanium one with custom machined top it’s so clean and light with the Ti top tube and aluminum frame.

AnarchicArctic built some really cool single shot PGPs with lots of custom tweaks. His carbon fiber barrel break action rifle is trick AF!

I have a Creeper Customs. It’s probably my favorite piece to shoot. He’s in the Sheridan section and can definitely build you whatever you can think up. He tunes the classic brass pieces up with modern freak bores and custom feeds he makes interchangeable brass barrel inserts, spring feeds, speed feeds, detents, iron style sites, double barrels and such. He made me a slick Single shot for quick draw competitions we run and he’s building me a a semi auto pistol setup with a special K frame I acquired a while back.

I figured I would start fresh with a thread for projects. I'll start with this clean brass in a bin.

Bret G at G&H Custom Works is doing some cool stuff with stainless as well. He has scratch built custom markers, levers, valves, stocks trigger groups, quick changers and all.

G&H Customs has moved to the Amory thanks to Carter. We have had to become a manufacturer rather than being Airsmiths. We have developed a line of paintball guns that range from full length lever, pump, and bolt action rifles to single shot pistols and custom length Pirates. The heart of all of our equipment is the valve

Doc just did a run of quick changers for us as well. They work awesome and fill the hole Palmers left.

Sergison machine makes beautiful Brass and Aluminum Kframes. You can still order them today. He will do a batch run of them you get enough friends together to do a run. There is some talk about a run if you’re interested in jumping on that.

This is my Creeper Customs single shot PGP. @JeeperCreeper reworked the valve for efficiency. Moved the breach forward and off set it left for more ergonomic hand loading while cutting the breach to allow for first strikes. He hid the holes for the locking bolt mech inside the top tube and cut a quick strip slot for the speed demon center fire bolt. It’s rotates and pulls straight out for easy cleaning. He made the barrel a slip fit freak insert compatible. Mine uses a small hidden grub screw to keep it all in place. He has a few different options for this. We added a Sergison Brass K frame and palmers quick change to it. I prefer the add weight of the brass frame VS the aluminum. I have a custom leather cowboy holster I carry it in. It’s a ton of fun to shoot. Chris has since made me a rock and cock clip on stick feed for it with one of his latest brass speed feed gates. Most of the time I run it single shot. But the versatility of the feed is cool. It clips on and off toolless to.

Going off of the BPS wars and how mech is bridging that gap, I would highly suggest a Nova N2 Dreadnought. A number of us used them during NXL Chicago and one of my teammates on a different line said that it shoots like an electro, minus the ramping. Just make sure you've got a sturdy loader so you don't outrun the feed.

Did Nova ever make an actual double trigger? I know they called one of their frames a double trigger but my understanding was that was because it was too large to be considered a single trigger by tournament rules.

I'm talking legit double trigger frame. I seem to recall some talk or a photo of one but last I looked there was nothing on their web page

Double trigger was suppose to be an available upgrade for the N3. I saw it in the shop but can't remember if it was a true 2 finger or more of a 1.5.

Unless you want one for your sniper.

Here is the double trigger assembly on the n2.

They basically come with a tourney legal trigger shoe, a slightly longer single,, a single trigger guard, a double trigger guard, and a double trigger shoe. I dont do tourneys, and I bought the n2 to have a walkable mech. That being said, the double trigger went on right away.It is probably the most walkable mech I've held. Though I've got to work some bugs out of mine.
