Outlaw ball west of Portland, OR

    Aug 25, 10am-4pm
Browns Camp, off of Oregon Hwy 6 between Portland and Tillamook

This is beginner-friendly casual hopper ball. Most games have at least one new player, so please bring your best coaching mindset. And cool gear for inexperienced players to drool over and fondle.

I have a 20lb co2 bottle for old school refills and a 80/3k scuba tank to top off your HPA tank. HPA is limited so plan accordingly.

    Deets are here:
When? >>> Sunday, August 25 from ~10am until ~4pm. Come or go whenever you wish. Where? >>> 45°36'50.2"N 123°21'12.3"W ***Note that there is NO cell service here!*** I suggest downloading the area in Google Maps before heading to the site. Park at the intersection of Beaver Dam Rd. and Scoggins Creek Rd, then walk down Scoggins Creek Rd to where the big rocks block vehicle traffic from going down the clearing for power lines. We're just inside the trees from there. This is a natural field on public land that has not been built up with artificial bunkers. There’s great cover in the form of massive stumps and fallen trees. On hot days, the tree canopy keeps the field about 10 degrees cooler than in the sunshine. Who? >>> You! The game is open to adults and kids 10 and older. Let me know if you need to borrow gear so I can reserve it for you! What are we doing? >>> Paintball in the woods! I have enough gear for 13 players and extra masks for a few spectators. We play simple games with hoppers only (no extra pods) with markers set to semi-automatic or pump. If you want to bring your own or borrow a friend's gear, all the better - we can have a bigger group! We will go through a safety talk, equipment orientation, and basic rules first. All markers are chronographed to ensure safe gameplay. Then it's game time! Most rounds will last 10-20 minutes. What should I bring? >>> 1) Clothes you don't mind getting dirty - darker colors (especially browns & greens) work best, but blue jeans and an old sweater will suffice. I have some camouflage jackets to loan out. 2) Baseball hat or beanie to protect the top of your head - paintball masks don't cover there! 3) Shoes/boots for running on uneven ground in the woods 4) Lots of water/gatorade - you'll need more than you think and there is no potable or running water here. 5) Packed lunch 6) Epi pen, other medical stuff if you're allergic to bee/wasp stings, poison oak, etc. I'm not a medical professional - PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK 7) Camping chair - there are no benches or tables at the site I will bring stuff for a hole-in-the-ground toilet and hand washing station. There aren't pit toilets here. How much will it cost? >>> Borrowing gear (marker, tank, mask, hopper) from Luke - Free! Air (actually CO2) - $5 for the day per player Paintballs - $15 for the day per player. (NOTE: For the 2nd player and beyond from your family/group, I'll reduce the cost of paint to $10 per player. Cash, PayPal, and Venmo are accepted. Bring your own gear, air, and paint - no charge. Just come out & play! (You still need to play by my rules though 😉)

You had to pick the one weekend I'm already camping on. Can't make it. As long as someone can shoot Super Nova for me I'll be there in spirit

I’ll have at least one more game in September.
