Looking for any outlaw/private fields in or around central Virginia. I live in Farmvillle, VA and the nearest decent place is over two hours away. Trying to see if there is anything a little closer to home.

There is a guy named Stan that I have played with at Xzone in Richmond. I Know he lives in Farmville and has an outlaw field, he has showed me photos. He has tried to get me to come out and play but im in Tappahannock so it would be quite the drive. Next time I see him I can try to get more info. Also he's at xzone every weekend as he plays on their teamGas, Grass or Brass, no one rides for free... -

I see Farmville as just South of Richmond.
I'm in Va. but more than a couple hours' drive West, way out in Deerfield.
I'm in the same boat, unable to find local players. Like it's almost unheard of.
Surprising with both JMU and Bridgewater college so close together. You'd think there would be competition.
I don't really count the nearby Mennonite college, but you never know.
I'll check the Xzone website, see if it's worth the drive.Comment

Jeez!!! And I thought I was in the middle of no where when it came to paintball haha. It looks like you have a 2 1/2 hour drive in any direction to a field. I noticed there used to be some paintball fields closer to you and me but they have closed down unfortunately.
Before I left paintball, many colleges had paintball clubs. I know a lot has changed since then. Loss of funding and interest tend to be the main causes.
Years ago, I belonged to a scenario paintball team. We partnered with other teams and individual players to form a coalition of sorts. It got up to about 50-60 people. Once a month, we would travel to a different field in the region to help support them. I have been attempting to rekindle some version of that but it has not been very successful haha.
I can send you my contact info. I can also save you user name and reach out if I can drum up any interest.
Thanks for the response.Comment

About 90 minutes to either Stonewall or Skyline.
Used to love playing scenario when I was living in New England. A dozen good fields within an hour's drive.Comment

I try not to make commitments. The word "premeditated" shows up in court. 😶
I can say I'll try to make it, if only to represent with the MCB banner.
I was there for the last Spring pump game, showed off some markers. Learned why so few over age 65 still play.Comment
