Planning for the future. A yearly diary

This will be a yearly(ish) timelapse of creating a natural paintball/nerf field.

I have a 1 year old kid. Im planning a nerf/paintball setup in the backyard. the wood piles will be removed and ill be planting a variety of native pines and tall grasses. Hopefuly by the time my kid is 5 years old, ill have some grasses to play around. The pines will take a bit longer, but im planning to have some decent sized trees in about 10-15 years

Plan fruit (and nut) trees. Everyone with a yard or land should be doing this, IMO. Not trying to sound all doomer like but things arent looking great.
