Ok, my registration is in, at least one other coming with, but I should have the second guy signed up by EOD. Sadly won't be camping this year, just playing Saturday.

I am ready to play my first game in sometime and I have decided I need to play this but I just checked and the registration is now closed. Does anyone know if I can get a hold of someone to make sure there’s going to be first backgrounds available because I don’t wanna play without them. If anybody has a line on this please let me know and if it helps tell them I was 19th airborne engineers may be the guy’s a veteran.

Do you mean first strike rounds? If so, yes they’re available. Registration online is closed but you can register at the event. Just keep in mind transactions are cash only at the event and all fees (registration, paint) are more expensive. LMK if you need to save some money and borrow gear. I have a bunch of loaners I can pull from. They’re essentially the same as a rental though - T98 or Spyder mechs.

So awesome. I have some great gear I’ll be used a decked out MG100 which is part of the reason I need to use FSR I’m not quite back to full strength and I still have one more surgery to go. Maybe I’ll bring my Dfender to loan the guys on our team running roundball hehe.
So you are sure they will have FSR? Or I can buy that in advance?

FSR bags are available for purchase, yes. They mention there’s a limited supply, but there may be some the day of. If not you can just run round ball.

In the past, it has been if it gets hit, you are out. There are some exceptions, but it has to be cleared with Dan.

I’ve always played woodsball or at a small field so I’m unsure how much paint to buy. Just me and my son and we’ll just play Domination for the 4 hrs on Sunday. What’s the recommended number of cases between the two of us? I’ll have a electro Tippmann Phenom and he will have a RT Tippmann A5. Backups will be a Proto Matrix Rail and a Spyder Electra. We both tend to line up our shots instead of using the spray n pray method.

One case each? Or is that overkill?

I played all 3 days last year except the night game. I shot 6 cases of paint. Friday a played pump all day. Saturday I used my phantom for 60 12 grams, then went mech. I didn’t use an electro until Sunday and still shot all that paint.

Maybe. If I have time to sort through some gear bins after getting all of my camping stuff figured out. I have a Phantom or two I've been thinking about getting rid of, a few Trracers as well.

I did all of my swapping for the season here on MCB and eBay. I’m sure I’ll drool at some of the offerings though. I’ve got too many home projects to dive into more paintball gear spending this year. It’s air & paint from here on.

I had a great time. Shot a phenom in the morning, but it was so humid the paint was soft and just blended in the cyclone. Swapped to my semi T98 and then Brass Eagle Stingray for the battle of the Dmz. They never let me down. Go figure.

After tent camping in the rain the first two years, for the next three I used a truck camper and stayed warm and dry in camp.

That mud was something else. My drive out of my camping spot, my jeep started sliding into a tree as I turned. Has to back out and approach at a different angle.
