Living Legends at Hell Survivors anyone?

I'm planning on heading to LL14 st Hell Survivors in Pinkney Michigan next weekend. Just wondering if anyone is going?

And if you've been, was it a good event? Entry is a bit steep, but everything else looks good from what I've seen and heard. Never been to a LL but played Viper's Canadian Carnage 2 and wasn't overly impressed for the cost.

I've not been to this field but I know its fairly large, cpx games are usually a good time, I've played several out here on the east coast. Like most games they are what you make of them. The fields are usually pretty awesome and the turn outs are pretty solid. I believe we had 1000 players at bones and ashes.

I've been looking over the rules for this games and there are several changes from the previous games that are nice to see. I'm very much looking forward to it!


Entry to these events is much cheaper if you pre-register before the first cut off.

Anyway Btellor1 I got a spot at the crooked lake campground in the Pinkney Recreational Area about 10 minutes south of the field.It was only $30 and includes hot showers and flush toilets. Compared to the $100 they want for a spot at hells that's a good deal. I may even bring my fishing gear!

If I had known about this in advance I’d take the day off and motivate other people to go. I’m not really interested in being in a secret four person game that nobody knew about though. Let us know if anyone shows up. It’s a great location.

Makes you wonder how popular it would be if they told people. I live 20 min away from Hell Survivors. I check all their events. If anyone ever mentioned “pump” once I’d be first in line.

I meant to make a post for this game but life got in the way a few weeks back and it fell out of my mind. I apologize, I'm definitely planning to post the details of these events as they come to me here in a timely manner, since half of paintball doesn't bookface.

I really hope we have a good turn out for this, I pretty much begged to be the ref for the pump game haha. Please stop by and say hi if you're around, the people from here are always my favorite to get to know.

When I did that for the 24hr Cowboys and Indians game at Sherwood last month it cost me a 5 night vacation with the wide in Chicago. Money well spent fyi!

Well that was an experience. I'll keep it short but I don't think I'll be playing a legends event anytime soon. The game was mediocre and expensive and the field was pretty rough. Maybe I'm just spoiled from visiting other fields like EMR, Blast Camp, Sherwood and Wasaga. 5/10.

That was kind of my feelings after last year's Monster game.
The field is really showing it's age and there are a number of the structures that are getting deteriorated badly.
I noticed some of the spools are starting to fall apart, but they just kind of put them into a pile and keep using them.
Heard a rumor that in the very near future, there will be some dramatic changes made due to property ownership.
The camping sites and the back portion by those silos all the way back where parking is could be gone.
Also some of the Highlands could be gone.
If you were losing that much real estate, I could see why there is no investment in keeping things up.

IMO the biggest issue last year was lack of anything like proper reffing.
