Oregon Supergame 2023 (May 5th - May 07) SniperzDen Paintball St. Paul, Oregon USA

Ladies and Gentlemen and all the other MCBers on this site, this year (2022) I went to Supergame for the first time and even though it rained A LOT I had a blast. Well zinger565 was kind enough to post about Supergame for next year(2023) and I wanted to post the West(OR) one on here to get some info out as well as find out who might be going to this one. I know that this is way early but I kind of like having plans far out so I know what I am doing and can organize things better.

    What I know:

    Signup is open,
    here.

It is being held in St. Paul Oregon at Sniperzden (
20794 French Prairie Rd NE, St Paul, OR 97137).

    Officially starts Friday May 5th
but camping starts Thursday May 4th.

    Cost: See next post or
    here.

    Early Bird Registration
    closes May 1st 2023 at 6pm.

    Mech 3 v 3 tournament is
    open($75).
    Pistol 1 v 1 tournament is
    open($10).

    Chrono Speed is 280.

Feel free to PM me with invites or if you are going and do not want to post.

Who is attending, and their camp space if reserved
(Not required just a way to find people if you want to visit).

If there are any questions let me know and i will update here. As well as with attending info.

Meet up: Last year I meet some of you and would love to meet others if we want to do a meet up please include the day or days you will be there. I am thinking maybe at a campsite at lunch or any other options would be good to hear.

I'm planning on it. I played last year for the first time too, had an awesome time with the guys in Autococker World, Tim Firpo, and Wade, and shot 6 cases over the 3 days. I'm going to try and be back. Last year I went Renegades and played with Joe Perez since he's a friend. No idea what side I'll played yet.

That kind of looked like fun being a yellow, the fact that you were moved to areas that you were needed and got to help be a deciding factor in a match.

It was kind of funny to be honest. It became very clear that both teams were actually even, and if we were all put on one side or the other it tipped the scales. So eventually, they just cut us in half. The good thing was you really could go to other spots on the field and just check things out if you wanted to, and join up with whoever. It was a good time.

I just got the email and ran through the registration so I could reserve a bunch of camping spots... but it looks like the Scavenger's spots are already reserved yet again this year. I can't explain it but I'm not about to complain. I'll be there, rain or shine.

I wonder if Matt paid for multiple years, or if his credits carried over.

I attended 2022 for the first time (just Sunday) and will attend with my son again in 2023. Will probably do the whole wkd next time, though, and I hope to bring a small crew of friends with me. We played blue last year and my son and I have agreed to join a different team in 2023 just to collect different colors of dog tags. Probably red, but we’ll see when time gets closer. We live about 30 min away, so camping won’t be necessary. A real bed and a dedicated shower each night, please 😜

That was part of the fun of the weekend was camping, telling stories with friends and sleeping on a cot or air mattress. I was blue as well and was thinking of staying blue since I already had the armband

We have red & blue armbands that we use in the woods already, so we skipped the SG bands and used our own. The dog tags are the chosen collectible. We played rock-paper-scissors to choose the team, and agreed we would probably swap the next year. Just because 😼

Team camp spots get reserved in advance. We just got set up to have ours so as long as we don't skip a year we have a permanent spot

I was team zebra last year. I'll be there again, but not sure if I will play or ref. Both are fun for completely different reasons.

Feel free to tell me not my business but does supergame pay for refereeing? How much of the weekend is covered camping etc? I seem to remember there was a separate camping area for staff, if you wanted could you camp with everyone else? One final question how many rules outside of refereeing were there, for instance Disney has an extreme amount for their employees?

Please, feel free to ask away. Yes you get paid. If you've done the training, they pay $30 more. They provide meal tickets and free camping, but I camp with friends. Not really any rules different than the players. Ref staff is pretty nice, as long as you don't flake on responsibilities.

I have added an event to the MCB calendar for this if anyone uses it.
