Got excited then realized it’s the Xtreme paintball thats 900miles away.. (not 100) I live on the wrong side of the earth for this one lol

That’s an awesome turn out! We got a good group of about 25-30 pump players that travel around to semi local fields and take over walk on play. Like a pop up pump play day. But 100+ is killer turn out for pump! That sounds like an excellent two days of paintball!

Quite awhile ago it was held near Bloomington Illinois. We had 100+ invade the Famous Daves BBQ for heaps of meat served on a trashcan lid!

Yea this used to be hosted a lot closer to me at Sudden Impact, havent gone since the even moved. I may give it a whirl this year, I am still only 2 and half ish hours away from stl.

Yea, we inherited the event, with Sudden Impacts blessing. We did do a FPE (Fall) a few times, but it didnt do as well.

I used Airbnb last year. We were only a few minutes from the field.

Hampton Inn in Columbia Illinois. Close to the field, do not get any hotel in Belleville Illinois if you look around the area for cheaper. Camping at the field is also allowed.

Did you get overly excited? LOL.
SPE events in past years have Canadians from both sides come, East coast and West coast people. I know of one Canadian probably coming, he came last year also.

For the locals/regulars or anyone familiar with the field paint: should I go for Evil or 5-Star? And generally what size are they?

I haven't had paint options in like 10 yrs so this is a delightfully odd situation.

You might get a better answer here, but I usually just show up and ask the folks in the pro-shop what the pumpers are buying. They're knowledgeable enough to steer you in the right direction.

The website isnt updated regularly. The field will have paint options, the owner usually has mid to high end available. But what they actually have that weekend, is not known.
