It was a lot of fun. The weather was much less brutal than some other years.

Rain on Saturday morning made loading a little damp, but otherwise weather was great. Organization off the field for loading/unloading was a pain, is it too much to ask to keep the side gate open in the morning like they used to? Was nice to see chrono's in the field, once. I do miss the refs that used to wander and do chrono checks, etc. We appeared to really only have refs at bases still. Perturbed about the glitter filled paint, as i'm pretty sure that's what ruined a lens of mine (scratched badly after wiping paint off). Game play with spawn-camping was minimal, but appears to have happened on both sides, easy fix would be to put back the truck insertions, or even more walk-on hot-inserts (which appear to still happen, just rarely). Final Battle isn't that interesting with this many people, and still wish we just did 9-5 each day with no breaks.
On the flip side, players were great, and it was a great time. Multiple conflicts in the back area (West Point -> Zulu -> Helicopter -> north west corner) over both days, along with a prolonged siege in the village let me play most of the field. Would still recommend this game to people to enjoy a multi-day large format game.

This year had some crazy swings between the teams, one insertion we had the other team pushed to their green zone, and next we were pushed to our green zone.
