According to BookFace, the grand ole tradition of BOB White Jaegers Caveball will be on Saturday March 2nd this year. Looking forward to meeting up with some of the MCB crew again this year!

The wife told me to go. Like, she actually looked up hotel pricing for me. Makes me wonder what I’m in for down the line… but I guess I’ll be there!

EDIT: Is there anything specific I should know about the event before I come down? Can I stop in & check things out the day before? Driving down from WI, so I want all my ducks in a row.

That is a great question. OpusX usually brings a collapsible table of some kind, then proceeds to fill it in true MCB fashion. (Don't worry, it's in a way that is pleasing to Velcor) personally I just show up early and grab a field cart and run things out of the cart or , if I'm lucky and got a good spot outside, out of the trunk of my mini-van. If you are running heavy (ie. more then 5 guns) I would bring the table.

What's a good hotel down there? I see so many on Google Maps, lol. And I saw Worlds of Fun is there. Might just stay up by Liberty to avoid things.

No idea on a good hotel. I haven't personally used any of them in that area.

What time does the event start?

It is a no registration, open walk-on style "big game". $5 field fee, FPO ($10 off cases on the day) and the doors open at 9am.

I've never been to this game before, so I don't know what to expect, but that strikes me as crazy cheap. My wallet will be very happy.

Or not, if I spend that on parts & gear, lol.

Last I went, It was Sunday. We went Sat, and Sunday. The KC crew met us there both days. Honestly, Bob White game was like open play, the differences in the bob white games were. They drop the side field nets to run a wider field. They discounted admission and paint. They allowed electros, Saturday was no electric hoppers allowed. . A lot of people showed up for Bob White. This year, the Bob White game is Saturday so it'll be all of that jazz on Saturday I assume.

Bring a yellow and a blue cloth for team identification. You wear them on your head if I recall. Last I was there I had to buy a yellow one as that's what the KC crew was playing. We may end up being put on blue so ypu may want both? The pros shop one was cheap. And a nice enough material. I'd still avoid buying it if I knew it was a thing.

Posting the soft good load out is a super good idea because it's highly unlikely any of us will play more then two games with the same marker. 😂
