I'll be there. Got my usual camp spots and a ragtag crew.

Anyone know if we can add cases of paint after the initial registration?

Yes you can edit your whole order. I'll have to go find it tonight if I remember right it was a little confusing but one of the confirmation emails they send has a link that gets you to a page where you can sign in and edit your "order" . That's where you can change it and it will automatically charge whatever card you paid with

I've also had luck emailing Brian directly (before I knew about the updating portion) and he got it entered for me. If you can't figure out the form and all you can always try that!

I am going!! First time ever.. what should i expect? I want to "camp" in my truck.. is that possible? The rear of my truck is outfitted, i travel across the country with it.. i will be paying soon, and not sure if i pay for tent camping or rv camping.. since it's not an RV and just a truck.. would tent camping be sufficient?

So if anyone needs 2 spots these are in a pretty good spot close to vender village and you'll be with jokers and myself in our camp

I'd be interested in a camping spot, but i truck camp in the back of my truck.. no tent.. have my truck outfitted minimally for camping adventures.

Yes do the tent camping and I have a spot for you just get me the $29 at some point so you can hang out with us cool kids. We are at the end of rows I and j. We always show up Thursday, usually just after noon so we can set up and chill in camp. What to expect let's see

Bring clothes and gear for 3 seasons
              1) nice
              2) torrential downpour with ankle deep mud
              3) hot as balls

Not kidding about the mud, it's happened, my tall boots go with me every year now. The camping spots are nice, it's in a nut tree orchard so it's all shaded.

If you have never done a game this big I recommend trail running shoes (if it's not a downpour) most guys who go out with cleats slip on rocks and logs and complain their feet hurt by the end of the day, you are walking a lot.

Bring some water into the field, some guys just throw a water bottle in a slot of their pods pack. I like to wear a camel back that doubles as a pod dump pouch.

Don't come with the expectation of winning or losing, they change the point values for the Sunday game to make sure each team can win so really nothing you do matters. Just relax and have fun.

Bring a pump or mag feed marker. The Friday game is a version of capture the bases. Once you get in you get a set of Mardi gras beads that are counted as "points" later. If you are using pump or mag feed you get double points. When you turn in your beads you get raffle tickets, so pump or mag feed means you get double the chance at raffle prizes as well.

The raffle has been kind of hit and miss, some years they have great prizes then there's years like last year where the only markers they gave away were tippmann Cronus and empire axe. The cool thing is all the raffle tickets they sell (at least according to them) the money from those all goes to charity

I've still never won anything, even a grab bag but I'm ok donating to charity for a chance.

Heya I'm curious what the staging/layout and parking is like.

I'm bringing my two chihuahuas, was wondering how close the noncamping parking area is to the staging areas.

I usually leave them in the car while we play, so if the camp spots are significantly closer to the staging area I would spring for a camp spot too.

And if you're worried, my gf usually only spends half the day playing, the other half lounging with the pups

Scroll down, they have the layouts available to view, albeit a bit confusing (to me)

If you are playing all 3 days you might want to bring enough money to get a 3rd case

                      Friday "spoils of war game"
                      Friday night game
                      Saturday all day game
                      Saturday final battle
                      Sunday..... Whatever it's called

I use an elecrto for the final battle and go through around a full case in just that 2 hour game. It's pretty wild

That said I typically get 2 cases and bring cash for a 3rd. If the weather is crap you don't go through nearly as much paint.

This year I've built a EMF sniper so I'm going to be shooting more FSR than anything but I'll likely shooting round ball for the final battle still

Day parking to vendor village/field entrance is about 1/3 mile minimum with a little valley to go down and up the other side. If you get parked in the far side of the day parking is a lot more

Our camping spots to vender village, 1/8 mile, flat.

Also depending on where you get parked your car could be in the sun. Our parking is all shaded.

If you just need a parking spot for the day we can probably squeeze you in

Do you want my cell? How do i reach you / pay you? I am going with Mook and his wife n daughter (most likely)

In regards to paint, i shoot a pump and don't use a bunch of paint. However, you're right.. 3 cases may be safer

                          Sending you a pm

Id stick with 2 cases if all you are going to play is pump. One of my guys was playing pump only last year made do with 1 case but he didn't play Friday

As I said in the other post, interest, yes. Ability? No.

I'm short on time, funds and inventory, all of which have the root cause of... well, I'm just not that good a businessman.

Right now, as noted in a thread in the Dead Zone, I'm so swamped it's not even funny. Some of you have been waiting a year or more for things I said I could do in 4-6 weeks. I've got a hole to dig myself out of, and for better or worse, that's what I've gotta focus on right now.

As always, I do definitely appreciate the interest, though.

                              Doc.
