2 1/2 hour drive for me. Haven’t been in 15ish years. Don’t know if the road leading in is still a death trap of oil pan destroying boulders and shin deep potholes.

I live about an hour away, I'm thinking about giving it a go, its just the attendance numbers as of late have been super low, under a 100 people total has been the norm for most of their scenario games. If the date works out, I might try giving it a go

Never liked castle games shooting endless shadows in windows. Let us know how it goes. Last time I went they nerfed the game and wouldn’t let you attack the castle walls until you found 4 keys one of which did not exist. Or maybe a defense guy took it into the castle. So the day was spent plinking at windows when paint flew out of the shadows. It’s the last one I went to and my buddy talked me into going against my better judgment. My favorite part of the game was the mad dash for the ramps and endless spawn battles taking the castle by the two ramp choke points. We successfully took it one year and took control of the castle spawn in record time one year. But the only good battles were had on the ramps. Otherwise it was just shooting at shadows.

Pumpers and Western Wars are when EMR peeked. I miss what it use to be.

Does anyone play at EMR regularly? Just moved to the area and this'll be the closest field to me.

Used to be our home field, but the quality of the field plummeted, the playership dramatically dropped and overall shady business practices… ill spend my money elsewhere.

It’s a shell of what it use to be. No idea what a walk on day looks like but they were still able to pull approx 80 players for Castle. I hear the game played terrible a lot left early before the game even ended. Same rules that killed the game. We had a team bunk house played every event at one point, I haven’t played there in forever. But from what I have been told they are still running things exactly the same.

They only drew 80 or so players to Castle? They used to bring in 300+! Before life happened, my team had a bunkhouse and played Castle and 2 other events every year... Wasn't the last game with the original Castle back in 2015? That's the last time I played there...
