Ok guys just picked this up, what do I need to know about them other then they can be finicky to get to velocity, what feednecks do they take and what's up with those bb detents they kinda make me wonder if they will even hold today's small ass paint

1 - I think they take Angel threaded feednecks
2 - If you struggle getting up to velocity you may want to consider grabbing one of the valves that flyweightnate made. I didn't have any trouble getting mine up to field velocity with a higher output HPA tank.
3 - The dual detents should be pretty good with holding paint, I don't recall having any rollouts with mine. If you find yourself getting rollouts you may need to mode one of the detents to accept a longer nubbin-style detent.
Lovely gun, good luck!💀 PK x Ragnastock 💀

Action Markers did indeed use Angel/AGD threaded feednecks - at least for their pump gun with the stick feed. I assume the rest of the bodies had it as well just to keep things consistent.Paintball Selection and Storage - How to make your niche paintball part idea.

The stock feednecks are great with the O-rings; I probably wouldn't recommend replacing. Angel threads are easy to bugger up if you're not careful.
Velocity shouldn't be hard to get up on high pressure HPA tanks and obviously CO2. Even with the flyweightnate valve I couldn't go all too low without problems. They love pressure above 600psi.

Ok thanks guys, feedneck doesn't have orings its just a stove pipe, no plans for lp maybe a spring kit
The detents are like a safety ball and spring iv never seen detents like this
I know one like this has switched a few hands on the forum and I think it had one of his valves but i have no clue if this is the one

Those are "rebuildable" cocker detents. I find that many cocker detents sit too deep, and an o-ring or nylon washer under the head helps. Doc makes a nice one.
For velocity, try a Spyder purple main spring. That's in mine, and it works well.Feedback

Yall keep saying cocker but nothing about these detent says cocker, a cocker detent won't even fit this marker, if they work they work i was just curious
Also someone put an ergo reg on here, I'm guessing that's what that is, should i ditch it for a gas through seeing as they like higher pressure

Huh... that photo is new and different. I hadn't seen that one before.
I think that's the stock AM gas through.

I took it off and there was a clip and brass it wasnt hollow, hence why I asked if i should swap it out for a gas through, I want to keep this simple as possible so I don't have any problems out of it I wanna be able to use it and show this beauty off

Definitely a very early detent. Rubber nubbins might work.
The brass in the gas through is likely a sintered filter. Knock it out or use a different grip; it won't change the pressure but it will lower recharge rate a lot.
Aim slightly uphill when you chrono to see if the ball is rolling forward and messing with your velocity. Try a smaller bore, too - shooting .675 through a .695 is pretty inefficient.Feedback

To test the detents take a paintball and/or reball and put it in the breach and shake the gun as hard as you can. If it rolls out you might have issues. I test this with paint and reballs because while the reballs are smaller, they have more friction than a paintball. Maybe switch the balls out to nylon if you can to save the bolt, otherwise I'd leave them as is. A Techt ifit might also help with efficiency while keeping the stock barrel.
