Auto Response frame mag, but single fire

Picked up this auto response frame mag off facebook recently, have owned a couple auto response frames over the years, glad to have another one again

This one is a little different though. When the safety is on, the mag will do single shots. when trying the auto response, I get hang fire and it doesnt wanna shoot on the release, it just vents air and the trigger gets stuck. Was kinda bummed out till I tried shooting her semi auto with the safety on and didnt chop a ball (lvl7 mind you), The trigger pull is pretty much impossible to short stroke

I ended up putting some parts on her from my stash and played a couple games with her a few weeks ago, probably the most fun I've ever had with a lv7 mag. I might try getting the auto response working correctly, but for now she's my new go to mag

Sounds like you need to tighten up that sear rod, and *maybe* replace the spring in the trigger frame. Start with a length of 2" from end of sear to the elbow (past the clevis) and see where that gets you.
