I sandblasted my Minimag body the other day and the solder for the Powerfeed and lug have taken a beating (tiny holes). Any tips for resoldering?

Other than cosmetics, those should be fine for a very long time... they're silver soldered or bronze soldered (is that a thing? Think I read it somewhere) from AGD and a tough nut to crack when removing.
I've brazed the lug on the bodies I've vert-feed modded but it took an oxy-acetylene torch and a lot of patience to fiddle it into juuuust the right position. -
Hmm well I've completely ignored all your advice and tried desoldering with a propane torch and it just left the stainless looking case hardened. I think the solder on one side might have a hairline crack in it at the Powerfeed tube. So now I'll be reblasting with less pressure to remove the rainbow effect from the torch. And it will eat at the solder more! What a viscous cycle! Can I just add solder on top of what is already there instead of redoing it entirely?Comment

Ok so apparently I'm a bit of a moron and those 'holes' were leftover bits of the Teflon coating I was stripping. So I took a torch to this for no reason.Comment
